Chapter nine

As requested I brought the crown princess daughter along. It was annoying the whole way there..she kept asking such stupid questions and Haru, on the other hand, was delighted except for when she came along when we got there Azu arranged for the girl to be taken around the palace and make her leave out of her whole will. Easy enough? I say that much.

"It's so good to see you, Azu," I replied.

"Yeah, So hows Haru doing?" She asked.

"Good, my lady," Haru replied.

"Haru, that's your sister. Don't have such formalities." I whispered.

"Mama, how? She looks a lot older than you." Haru Said.

"Excuse me brat! I'm only Twenty-six years old so shut it!" She exclaimed.

"That's a lie and you know it Azu, you just don't Haru to know you're older than that," I muttered under my breath.

"Anyways welcome, I'll show you around my self since my so-called servants are unreliable!" She shouted.

"Please forgive us! Your majesty!" They shouted.

"Useless go do something before I have your heads on the block!" She shouted.

They ran in fear of heads chopped off, scary indeed.

"This is the courtroom, that's my throne. Oh and over there is Ami's throne. If you follow me down the hall these are the noble male consort hall, he controls all harem stuff, over there are from consort of each rank to lowest convincing rank ever. Oh and over there is the doctor's hall's, that way down farther is the minster's palace from justice till prosecution. And if you left off that you have my personal attendant quarters down at the very far right and across from that is my palace." She Said, "also way way way...down there in the cold palace and that's where the worst consorts go, and underneath it is the imperial prison where I sentence people who either are suspected of treason get questioned or they get a life sentence there."

She turned around to see a skinny man with long white hair and quiet a big bald spot on his head approached her.

"Your majesty, the minsters have asked of your presence. They like a court meeting." He spoke.

"Elder Shang, your old human go lay down and take a nap don't listen to those young dragons they'll get you killed one day." She spoke.

"Yes." He replied as he slowly walked away.

"Anyways follow me, I'd like to help if you please with these old men. They ain't the easiest to sway." She replied.

"Any time, I got nothing better to do," I replied.

As we walked towards the court and I sat in my seat with Yuki standing next to me and Haru sitting on my lap. What's funny is that once they see me they'll fear even more cause you know all-powerful vampire prince here, though that's...kinda a secret as of now.

"Greetings to your majesty." They all spoke.

"Shut it! What's the deal on why you called me here when I was showing my guests around." She replied.

They gazed at me and their eyes became more worried than before...shows them annoying little pests!

"Oh, we apologize. But there is something that requires your attention you see..we have news that the country of the south known as Akko would like to make an alliance with us." Minister 1 said.

"So do it, he's a good friend of mine known him for ages." She replied.

"But Your majesty, we know nothing of this man!" Minister 2 shouted.

"I do, he's Hikaru he's a former general of mine fought in the Great War of 1204 A.D." she explained.

"We see, he's an old one." Minister 5 says.

"Eh? If he heard you say that he'd kill you without a second thought." She commented.

Yeah your understanding of how scary he is a lot smaller then that if you knew what he does to people who annoy him. You wouldn't be worried about your head as much as your mind. Now that I think about it, I'm a bit peckish.

I grab a cup and pour some blood wine into there and drink it.

"Can I have a taste?" He asked.

"Yuki, I don't think you'll like it all that well...it's quite bitter," I replied.

"Bitter? It can't be that bitter if you like it." He replied.

"Aren't we supposed to pay attention to there court meeting," Haru commented.

"Hmm? We are." I replied.

"So? I say that we allow him to be comrades with us. Anybody against it before I make the reply?" She asked.

They all stayed quiet as I drank the wine some more. In truth it wasn't wine it was juice but the real name is blood wine juice...Yuki grabbed the cup and drank some then spoke: "it's not bitter as I thought maybe some sugar would make it taste good." He replied.

"You should have a heart I only just found this in my room last night." I said "It hadn't gotten served till today. So it's not at the best quality, you could say."

"Hmm? So I got a question? How did it get in the room? Last time I checked, you could only get this is in vamp turf, yet you got it so quickly?" He asked.

"Let's say, you don't everything about me," I replied.

I grinned as my teeth showed for a mere moment, he leaned in a muttered something softly before giving a simple kiss on the lips.
