This is like a wake up call for you

The Storm was still happening in the City B, the other businesses kept a low profile after seeing what Sun Corporation went through in a day. The person who caused the Storm was happily humming the song in the bedroom. She refreshed quickly and was to ready to head out to hospital.

Zi Peng thought he will take a break and spend his time with his wife got disappointed after seeing her getting ready to leave.

Xue Nuan noticed her husband coming with sad face. She held his face in arms and asked

"Ah Peng, what's wrong dear? Are you not feeling well."

"Nuna, You don't have rush up because of me. I will go back to work, anyway loads of things have been piled up. But like you suggested let's drive together."

His face wasn't sad anymore, Xue Nuan sighed inside thinking about one after the other things affecting his mood. she told herself to plan something to cheer him up."

Both Husband and wife didn't discuss anything related to Sun Family. They both just carried on with their stuff like any other day.

In no time, they reached Downtown, Zi Peng dropped his wife at Long Sunshine Hospital private parking and he left to Zi Business tower.

But before leaving, he didn't fail to capture her lips to his hearts content. She struggled a Little in his embrace since Zi Peng was unusually forceful today.

Yi Luoyang went back in the night after unsuccessful attempt to see his sister. He didn't want to go meet his brother with that, so he slept in his private apartment.

Elder Yi was noticing every single reaction of his elder son and asked his Yi Zheng's wife

" Father, Since Sister Ming is in the hospital, he is worried sick about her."

He tried calling him while his mother was complaining to his father, but Yi Luoyang didn't pick his phone. He got terribly angry with his inefficient younger brother.

Elder Yi asked his wife to keep calm and turned towards his Son.

On the other side of City, Li Zedong didn't go anywhere but slept on spare bed in his Mother's ward. He was awake early in the morning by the Continuous visits of nurses in the room. He felt the hospital employees are quiet diligent compared to the ones he has seen in other places.

He wanted to call his assistant, but he stopped hearing the knock.

The nurse informed him that there is a visitor outside. Li Zedong tidied himself up and went out.

Yu Chun was looking fresh in the morning, Ding Zan who was coming to meet his boss after a sleepless night was looking worn out.

Li Zedong's eyes fell on the Yu Chun first. Yu Chun greeted him by a slight bow

" Young Master, Elder Master Li wants to visit your mother. He wants to ask your permission and suitable time for his visit."

" Yu Chun, why are asking for permission? Grandpa is family, he doesn't need any permission to visit. Plus he can come whenever he is comfortable."

" Boss, I have collected mostly all the details you have asked me to do. But there is one task pending, which might take time. I will finish later and give you report. "

Li Zedong collected the file from him and said

" Okay, I will go through this later. keep this highly confidential. you can take an off today and report to work tomorrow morning here in the hospital. I will be here only if not at work."

" Okay boss, thanks so much for the leave. I will go now."

After Ding Zan left, Li Zedong glanced at the report. He took a seat and started glancing it. His eyes widen in surprise often.

Yi Ming who was in deep sleep woke up slowly and opened her eyes.

Her eyes drifted to the figure sitting on the side reading some files. Her lifeline is her son, how can she think that he will abandon her like everyone else. He is right here with her, she drifted off to sleep after that.

Unknown to this Li Zedong was seriously going through the report. He closed the report after hearing approaching footsteps, placed safely in his briefcase.

Elder Li came to visit Yi Ming and his assistant accompanied him.

" Li Zedong, I m not going to pry over what happened in Yi Family house that caused your mother to be admitted to the hospital. But I think this is like a wake up call for you. You should take care of yourself and your family. That should be your bottom line always."

Li Zedong was dumbfounded to hear his grandfather. Just managed to nodd in agreement.

" Come to your father's ward, let's have a some thing to eat together."

" Okay grandfather, give me 20 minutes, I shall freshen up and join you guys."

Elder Li left swiftly and Li Zedong's phone was vibrating Continuously. He didn't want to check when his grandfather was there.

He picked it up and surprised to hear his First uncle on the line.

" Li Zedong, what took you so long to pick your phone. "

Li Zedong felt angry after hearing him and wanted to lash out at him, but he controlled his emotion.

" First Uncle, please tell me what is the matter? are you trying to contact me for long time."

Yi Zheng was stunned by calm response of his nephew. He always thought he had kept his sister and her son on his lease.

" Father wants to meet you immediately. come to Yi Family Mansion."

" Sorry Uncle, I m busy here in hospital till breakfast. after that I will come. please inform grandfather on my behalf. I m going to disconnect now, since I got to go"

Li Zedong cut the call and went to refresh in his room on the side. He didn't forget to take his briefcase.
