Garrof, Lloyd, and the others who already knew Lory's identity didn't look as overwhelmed as Hugo, Lilly, and Ethan. Lory then takes a seat on the chair and begins to speak "First of all, I would like to apologize to all of you, Hugo - Lilly for hiding my identity even though you trusted me and even invited me to your home, I lied to you, but I hope you understand that I did it with utmost consideration for your safety and the truth is, I've been gone for quite a while... so when I came back, it took me quite a while to understand the situation..."

Lory didn't want to explain where she was going or tell about the existence of the other world, because she would have to explain about Lazarus, Arthea, the First King, and everything that would be too much for them. There are some things that are better kept hidden especially if it doesn't have any benefit to your life.
