Pitch Black

Zero's eyes flared up with power as he released an inhuman roar. His spirit energy spread forth completely concealing the bodies of Chris and Layla as they screamed in pain and agony.

Suddenly a long explosion occurred and the two sides were sent flying back. The force which blew them away wasn't aura or spirit energy, instead, it was a psychic wave created by the dusk demon and the shadow jumpers.

"Arrgh!" Zero's vision blurred as he struggled to rise on his feet.

The psychic wave was directed to his mind and not his body so was a bit disorientated for a while. Right in front of him, he could see the two shadow jumpers which looked like rabbits but their body was more ghastly than solid and their eyes were blood red. He silently watched as the two shadow jumpers were desperately trying to get on their feet but it seemed as if their body was tied down by some invisible force.
