Zero breathed out and turned his attention to his enemies, turning his gaze to the mutated student who was slowly getting on his feet. His hand was broken and based on the sounds Zero could hear from his body, he could tell he was regenerating.

"Your mutation grants you super strength and high-speed regeneration… cute but it doesn't make you immune to pain" Zero revealed a vicious smile that made the mutated student's heart to skip a beat.

Even though he was acting calm, he was a bit nervous too. This is not a spar or a training session! It is a battle to the death! And even though he has taken so many jobs where he is forced to kill magic beasts of various levels and ratings, it didn't stop him from feeling a bit nervous since the person he is facing off against this time is a human. Unlike magic beasts, they think and plan ahead, so it won't be as easy as the magic beasts he has fought.
