At that moment, Dan and Akila appeared into view and they called out to Zero. They wished to approach further but the sight of the massive Cyborg lying on the ground and then the Rinx a B-rated magic beast lying not too far from Zero shocked them almost to death.

They thought they have seen the worst, until they saw the hole on Zero's chest, something that looked like his rib, and finally his pale-looking skin. They wished to speak but seeing Zero, sluggishly get on his feet and then walk towards the small pool, they decided to remain silent and observe.

"Why are you helping me? Aren't you annoyed I killed the Rinx and I'm about to take away the soul purification pool, which means death to all the hundred-plus magic beasts living in this territory?" Zero asked with a sad smile but there was no response.
