Chapter 5 foreshadowed meeting, Change in the kobolds

Inside of an old fort that had signs of withstanding countless battles, sieges, and age, with a blue flag which at the center had a lion with a heart in its jaws, this was the symbol of one of the generals that served under the united kingdom's.

Lord Henry Lionheart, an aura user of the 7th tier, with blonde hair and androgynous looks that attracted both genders, this person's strength prevented the unsavory advances of most people.

Wearing a tight tunic and loose slacks, bandaged were wrapped around his arms and legs as he practiced the families Aura Artes while listening to the report of one of his friend's failure in detail as his body moved and covered in sweat.

The messenger concluded his report and remained kneeling as he knew his general well and that he will more than likely send a scout team to search for those elephant monsters that decimated the 7th battalion.

The only question was, would his general's 'quirk' change his approach?

"Reginald, how strong do you think those monsters are?"

Reginald, the messenger, gulped as what he had feared was coming to pass!

Lord Henry had a bad habit of either taming those he took an interest in or collecting their head as a trophy!

But Reginald, still ever loyal to his general, answered after pondering the question and the consequences.

Hence, he released a defeated sigh as the mischievous glint in Henry's eye already told him of what's to come regardless if he even tried to stir his attention away from his new source of entertainment.

But he still had one more card to pull.

"My lord, if I may, isn't your daughter's debut happening within a month?"

Reginald was an old friend of Henry, so he knew which buttons to press as the general scowled at him for using such a low blow since it could take a few months to set up a fully equipped army with enough supplies to last in any selected area and set a foothold, sadly for the general... he wasn't done yet~

"And isn't Lady Anna asking you to pay her a visit again as it is your duty to leave more than a few heirs~."

Henry's face had a 'you bastard' kind of look, but the general could only surrender as he said to Reginald with slumped shoulders.

"I really dislike you sometimes! but~"

Once the word 'but' left his lips he suddenly lowered his stance with a mischievous look on his face~.

Reginald knew that when he said that word in that way, it meant something as Henry was itching for some revenge towards him.

Thus the man tried to run, hoping to hear nothing of the upcoming plan because if he didn't hear it, then it had nothing to do with him!

But sadly, Henry was the same tier as him, just a little stronger due to the family Artes, So he was immediately tackled to the ground as they wrestled against each other like kids as they did numerous times in the past!

Henry dropped a bomb that he absolutely didn't want to hear!

"My wife's best friend Mary has been asking for you to come, so this might be the best time for a break and to catch up~."

Reginald paled upon hearing that before his scream of despair followed as his friend used the bandages to tie him up preventing the man was escaping.

Then again that was the only way to get him to come and finally visit the barbarian-like woman that specialized in strength!

"NNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

A little tidbit about the Woman 'Mary' she was another 7th tier aura user that, as we said earlier, someone who specialized in strength and usually lost control of it due to how infatuated she was with poor old Reginald that specialized in speed, that had fell victim to her bone-crushing advances all thanks to him protecting her a few times on the battlefield and treated her kindly since she was a former commoner turned noble, to which many of the noblemen nitpicked at her for.

If you still don't get it I'll put it in simpler terms, and he saved a girl about to die a few times, then when she was being treated as an outcast he was kind enough to treat her as she deserved after struggling for so long~

Reginald doesn't really mind the woman it is just the literal back-breaking greeting he receives upon meeting her which sort of traumatized him... Teehee~

At least Henry will spend time with his family and Reginald truly hoped that the other generals will soon l deal with this problem.

Back at the Large Cave

Mikhail was truly missing the damned cloning vat unlike in the game that structure can speed up the process of getting more troops and he could add and edit his troops in any way that he wanted.

Upon reaching the sixth day, Mikhail had erected the Bio-reactor before getting the barracks set to be made, while also adding a Gattling turret to up his defenses as well built walls surrounded his construction yard.

He could float over the walls just fine thanks to telekinesis that was only strong enough to lift him alone, at the moment.

While the Kobolds, that had completely surrendered to him, were completely integrated into his troops as they were now marked as units in his status, turns out they were quite the craftsmen.

it was just that humans and other monsters in this world constantly hunted them to which prevented them from reaching their peak, it was understandable since to humans, monsters are a threat, and they needed to prevent monsters from surpassing them in power or it will bite them in the ass later.

While other monsters always hunt for weaker ones for food or sport.

The leader of the kobolds was a female one, their height was averaging around 4 feet, the higher their tier was the more human-like they become this was something that intrigued Mikhail resulting in the leader becoming his pet.

This was not his words, by the way, but the kobold's, to whom he named as Krux as her long assed name was a tongue twister.

For a kobold who had submitted to a human then given a nickname, it was like being adopted by a human for some 'extra' activities when they reach 5th tier or higher.

Krux was the remaining first tier, while the rest were below that.

Should their tiers have been higher than that, Mikhail's mental abilities wouldn't have worked on them.

So now, the meek kobold was following him wherever he went like a shadow, this was a welcome thing but it didn't stop him from wanting to extract some of their genes to collect their best features.

It amused Mikhail when the Krux entered the construction yard for the first time as her eyes sparkled for the high tech gear and material it was made of and every time he made a building sudden appear out of nowhere was astonishing for her and her kind.

Mikhail failed to notice a little something as he kept himself busy by trying to practice his power to strengthen further because the Kobolds that formerly feared him looked at him as something more.

This changed greatly when one of the Kobold's placed a Particular wooden doll in the middle of the biggest tent that they had received from Mikhail that looked oddly similar to a certain someone.
