2 Weddings and a Disaster

A month later....

Athena Hexie Wu-Choi squeezed the bottle of the watermelon shampoo and her gaze stopped at the diamond-studded metal bond on her ring finger.

Memories from yesterday flashed through her mind as she massage her hair.

Athena Hexie Wu was woken up early by her ever strict mother, Li Lifen, for her to get ready. After taking a rigorous bath, the highlight was to take all of her body hairs permanently using an old Wu traditional medicine lead by Nanny Lin and older maids. So she's now hairless...even down there.

Then she was clothed in a traditional red cheong Sam with gold embroidery. Her hair was adorned with traditional hair ornaments, and like usual she didn't let the make-up artist trim her brows into a thin arch. She ordered him to do a natural make-up like what she taught him the day before.

She really hated the make-up trend of this novel-world. Very shiny lip gloss, thin high arching eyebrows, sparkling blue-violet eyeshadow and very pink blushes.

The traditional oriental dress was a gift from her mother in law, Kotone Choi and the gold embroidered wedding dress Lihua designed was very beautiful. It accented her current body and made her look like a queen.

Following the Wu traditional marriage, the morning was scheduled for the traditional wedding, and the afternoon was the white-veil occasion.

So basically, Athena kissed the Heir of the Choi Empire twice. She shivered at the thought of his soft warm lips.

"Aish! Not those cursed lips again!! Stop thinking about it, Athena! This is not a proper lady would do!" She scolded her self and turned on the cold shower.

Athena finished taking a bath and put on her new set of track suits.

She walked towards her veranda as she dry her hair. She stretched while she basked in the sun. Their chic new modern home is in Apple Village and it is truly a peaceful neighborhood. Plus it's also close to her university campus.

Athena looked around and memorized her new home.

Overlooking the veranda is their nature-styled pool, there was even a fireplace near the pool just next to those comfy resting chairs. There was a tree near Choi Kazuki's side of the veranda. And below the tree was a tool shed. It looks convenient for going up and down from the veranda. Athena took note of this.

Following the deal, the two rooms were separated by a wall, though they share the same veranda, Athena Hexie Wu could only shut her mouth and accept the right room.

Athena walked back inside and close the door to the veranda.

The room was white and nude themed, her succulents were neatly arranged near the window, the place was not as big as her room in her parents' house but it was enough for her. She sat at her vanity table and combed her hair. She was again reminded of what transpired yesterday after seeing the ring.

When the wedding reception came, as the newly wed couple would just be sitting in a corner by themselves. She had just ate and drank soda. There were guest that would occasionally go over their table to greet them. The two would only smile and politely thank them.

In the stage, Athena's oldest paternal cousin, Hera Wu and her husband was singing several love songs for the newly wed couple. Hera Wu's husband was actually Choi Kazuki's 6th uncle and the famous idol turned CEO, Choi Kazuhiro.

'It's really a small world here in this novel, huh?'

Then a group of girls led by Lihua Wang came over. They were very familiar. Choi Kazuki stood, informed Athena that he would be going to his friends.

"HEXIEEEE~~ OMG OMG!!" The three new girls shrieked when they reached their table and engulfed her in a group hug.

She remembered their faces. They were the three other Villainess that shared the same fate as hers. Family business went bankrupt, died at the hands of the Male and Female lead. Only Lihua Wang's death was different as she...killed herself after the two lead's wedding.

Tears rolled down to her cheeks. The Villains had the rough end of the stick.

"Aw don't cry Hexie-er!" Lihua comforted.

"You guys actually came!!" Athena sniffed. The girls have been recently in touch since Lihua added Athena in their group chat in the messaging app Lime.

"Duh! It's our friend's wedding! I even skipped my ballet performance for this wonderful occasion!" Minato Kimiko said as she gracefully dab a napkin on her tears.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world! I would literally fight anyone who comes on my way!" Song Mayumi valiantly said while showing a fist.

"I never knew you would be the first one to marry! And here I thought I would be marrying first because y'all don't have a boyfriend~" The youngest, Zhang Dongfei cheekily teased.

"Why you little!!" Mayumi grabbed Dongfei and squeezed both of her cheeks.

"Hey! You're ruining my make-up!"

Speaking of make-up, Athena studied their faces. They really look like a group of Villains, with all their eyebrows trimmed thinly with a high arch. No wonder they could easily get the people around them angry and throw hate at them. She has to teach them the modern way of make-up and make-them look more...kinder.

"Oh yeah, Lihua, how are the book I have sent you?" Athena asked. She has sent Lihua lots of feminist-themed books.

"Oh they're great! I have learned so much and now I have found a passion for lifting up women's rights! I even sent the others to these ladies, right?" Lihua was delighted. Mayumi, Kimiko and Dongfei nodded and also shared their own opinions regarding the topics on the book.

Athena sighed in relief. She really thought these girls would just throw it out and read fashion and gossip magazines instead, just like what they usually do in the novel. But in reality, these girls are not shallow

"Why don't I get us some drinks and make a toast? Wait for me girls, alright?" Lihua stood up and made way towards the buffet table. Looks like Lihua's diva attitude diminished too.

Athena gazed at her from afar, and she suddenly saw a familiar man walking towards Lihua who was choosing a wine bottle. A man with the perfect sculpted body, and a face that could ruin cities. Even from a far, he exudes sex appeal and that certain charm only a Male Lead can have.

She suddenly felt chills in her spine when the two talked to each other.

'Oh no! It's too early! It cannot be him! Nooooo! Oh God above don't let Lihua fall in love at first sight on the Male Lead...Park Jinhai!'

"Oh my! Is that Jin from LSS? How on earth did you invited Last Song Syndrome?!" Kimiko gushed.

"Huh? Who's that man??" Mayumi asked curiously.

"It really is him!" Athena confirmed the identity if the man. Who would forget the Male Lead's handsome face who is in every frame of the drama series.

"Oh Mayumi, didn't you know? Choi Kazuki is Kei! He's the leader of LSS! So naturally the members would be invited, plus the members are also heirs of different successful businesses connected to Choi Empire, Right Athena? A fan married to her bias!" Mayumi explained and then gushed over how lucky Athena was to marry an idol. Athena helplessly nodded.

"Ugh. No wonder my brother was here!" Dongfei grumbled.

Athena, she didn't know about Choi Kazuki being part of a famous band. And it was LSS at that! So no wonder he asked if she wanted a copy of their album.

'And why is everyone assuming I'm a fan of their boy band?'

"But seriously, Hexie! You're a fellow Remedy and you're married to your idol! That's so amazing! Now, we could fangirl together!" Mayumi gushed. Remedy is the official fandom name of their band because the fans' love can cure the boys from hate comments.

"Wait look! That Jin guy is talking to Lihua. Isn't he the rumored playboy of their band? I'm gonna break his bird if he hurts Lihua!" Mayumi readied her fists.

Athena couldn't believe what was happening. It seems like she really has no escape and would really has to face the two leads of Love At First Kiss.

Lihua and Jin were supposed to meet at college, not in her wedding reception. The handsome man that exudes sex appeal and charms where all the single ladies attention was, was infact the Male Lead of the novel turned drama series.

Athena was about to stand up and pull Lihua away from the Male Lead preventing her from falling in love, when saw Lihua slapping Park Jinhai's handsome face.

"You stay away from me, you perv! Men who play with girl's feelings are not my type! I hate guys like you!" Lihua flipped her hair after saying her piece and walked away with a wine in her other hand.

Athena was shocked, along with the people near the two outstanding beings. But she swiftky shook her head and fetched the Main Villainess.

'WTF?! Did I just made the Villainess hate the Male Lead? I think I made her a feminist!' Athena smiled wryly.

"Lihua! You okay? What happened?" Athena immediately escorted her towards their table.

"I will make you mine Wang Lihua! I will make you fall in love with me!" The Male Lead, Park Jinhai a.k.a Jin the Visual Vocalist of Last Song Syndrome, announced while still managing to smirk despite the pain in his left cheek.

'That's it! My life is over!' Athena cried in her heart.

Athena snapped out from reminiscing the fiasco yesterday.

"Aigoo!! What shall I do?? The Male Lead is now interested in the Villainess! The Female Lead will not yet appear until college as she's still probably in high school!" Athena paced around her new room as she massage her temple.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Lady Hexie, the breakfast is ready! Young Master Choi has already left for his flight. Come and eat downstairs." Nanny Lin said from the outside.

Right. Today was Young Master Choi Kazuki's departure for their band's world tour for the whole year. That means...

"I'm a free woman!! Married but still free..atleast for a year! Yaaaaasss!" Athena danced like she won the lottery and almost cried. She has a year or so to do whatever she wants.

"Lady Hexie? The food is going to get cold..." Nanny Lin once again knocked. She was still sad that her young master and young lady didn't had the chance to consummate their marriage because of that cursed world tour of her new young master.

Nanny Lin thought that Hexie Wu was wallowing in despair inside her room because of the canceled honey-moon. She mistook her cries of happiness to cries of sadness.

"Yes, yes. Coming!!" Athena happily went out of her room and made a bee line towards the chic kitchen.

"Aiyah! My poor young lady! Even pretending to be happy!" Nanny Lin wiped the tears forming in her eyes.

"I will make sure to take care of my young lady Hexie! She will be the most irresistible, lovable and beautiful wife for Young Master!" Nanny Lin vowed to herself. She will help her young lady seduce the young master when he returns.
