New semester, Same friends Part 2

"Apologize to Wu Hexie-sama! It is not right talking behind her back when she have done nothing wrong to you!" Haruno Chieko said bravely.

"Alice Kang has grown up in a different country and I can't believe this is how you treat people who struggle to speak Jade Country language! And I don't want to explain myself regarding the scholarship entrance exam but it seems the situation will be worse if I don't explain my side." Chieko stood there imposingly.

"I took the exam because the 'invitation' was missing. Turns out my dear cousin hid it from me, the University President told me they have sent me an invitation after the Examinations. Imagine having your own relative prohibit you from going to a school of your dreams just because she wasn't 'invited'. We both took the exams and the rest was history. Now if you don't want to get kicked out in school for spewing nonsense against an Elite, apologize!"

"I'm still struggling to speak fluently, but please bear with me. And also don't be m-mean to Wu Hexie-sama! She did nothing wrong to you! Apologize to her or else!" Alice Kang uttered in the local language of Jade Country.

Their classmates cowered in fear and apologized to them especially to Wu Hexie. The other blocks saw what happened and ever since then, no one actively said bad things about the three girls.

"Wu-sama! Forgive us!"

"Please don't kick us out!"

"Oh! My goodness, please stand up! And let us forget that this happened..."

"Yes, Wu-sama!"

When the three girls were left alone in the classroom, Chieko and Alice fessed up that they were the President and Vice-president of the Ice Queen fans club back in high school.

And now they were classmates and friends. These two were very protective of Wu Hexie, hence some petty rumors about her were dissolved, but she became even more scary since those who tried to hurt Wu Hexie were silenced by the girls.

Now back to the present, Wu Hexie would repay their kindness with friendship.

"Oh quit adding the 'sama' suffix to my name, you two. And yes, good morning Chie-chan and Alice-chan!"

"Oh quit telling us that! Your name is worthy to have that suffix!" Chieko mimicked Hexie's formal tone.

"Oh quit squabbling, you two!" Alice also joined in.

The three girls gracefully laughed at their own antics. The air was filled with soft ' Ohohoho's. Hexie didn't mind her noble lady laugh anynore.

"Good morning Wu-sama, Kang-sama, Haruno-sama!" Their classmates greeted them. Hexie flashed them a smile, "Good morning!"

"Hexie-sama, your smile is still pretty scary haha!" Chieko commented.

"True! But I dare say, I think it improved Hexie-sama! Keep smiling and it will look natural as time goes," Alice said.

"Yes, you guys are right..." Hexie said gloomily. The slight shiver in fear whenever she smile or talk to them did not escape her eyes.

Curse this body's eternal bitch face! Her eyes really looked cold. Her smile was eerily scary just like in the drama. Back in the drama, in every scene she was either scowling or have bitch face. The only time she smiled was when they succesfully to kidnapped the Female Lead. And it was a terrifying sight.

"Cheer up Hexie-sama! I heard the Food Gallery is going to sell Caramel Egg Pudding for dessert this lunch!" Alice was also a fellow-sweet tooth.

"I heard that too. I'm going to give my dessert to you Hexie-sama, you got thinner lately. I'm afraid of your sudden weight loss..." Chieko was the ever worried mother hen.

"Yes, yes. Now let us sit down before our prof comes in," The three girls sat down at the first row, which was their usual seat in every classroom.

Lunch time.

The three girls lined up in the cafeteria, but it was more known as the Food Gallery. There were various food that students could choose from. Though some students, mainly the scholars, would opt out and eat their own prepared meals. So the students who don't buy food in the cafeteria eat at the tables outside the Food Gallery. It was an unwritten rule according to the novel, in which the female lead was picked on by Lihua and the Villainess Squad when she tried eating her bento inside the cafeteria.

Speaking of Lihua, she have not seen her today. She was probably hiding from Park Jinhai's fans. The student body's chatters were about the two.

'Dang I feel bad for Lihua. Maybe I should send her more feminist books...'

When they finally got their food and paid, they sat at their usual spot in the second floor, which oversees the floor below.

It was where the privileged Elites sit. When Hexie found out that she have the royal snowflake pin, she was ecstatic. The snowflake pin was iconic in the novel and drama and now it was in her hands. In the novel and drama, the Villainess Squad got away with everything because Lihua have the Imperial Snowflake pin.

The pin signifies that you are part of the Elites, and it means you were invited by the school, crazy rich, talented and smart and is willing to finacially help the school. That also means that you can utilize everything in school and access the places reserved for the Elites, like the second floor of the Food Gallery.

There is still hierarchy in the Elites and is based upon 60% wealth and 40% entrance exam. The privilege level is composed of four types; The Noble Elite, Regal Elite, Royal Elite and Imperial Elite.

Those at the top, Imperial Elites, are crazy rich beutiful geniuses, most of them now are Undergraduate Seniors and Post-Graduate Students. And the rest follows. So far Wu Hexie is at the Royal Elites level thanks to her previous life's knowledge. Next year, she's aiming to get the highest ranking pin, the Imperial Snowflake, by taking the Upgrade Exams.

The type of snowflake on their lapel is dependent of their level too. The Noble Elites only have a bronze with diamonds snowflake pin, The Regal Elites have silver with diamonds snowflake pin, The Royal Elites have silver but there is gold at the center of the snowflake pin also with diamonds. And the Imperial Elites have pure gold with diamonds snowflake pin.

'After I graduate, I will pawn these pins if the time comes. Ohohoho!'

"...right, Hexie-sama?" Alice nudged Hexie out from her thoughts.

"Huh? Yes?"

"See! Even Hexie-sama agrees that Choi Kazuki-sama is handsome!" Alice giggled.

"So a Genius Empire Heir is Hexie-sama's type. That makes sense! You two would look good together!" The other elites looked at their table due to Chieko's naturally loud voice.

"Hah?! W-What the-- no Chieko-chan! That's preposterous! I wouldn'tdream of it!"

"Oh come on Hexie-sama! It's natural to have a crush! And Choi-sama is not a bad choice!" Alice sighed dreamily.

"A perfect choice actually! It is Chieko approved!"

Hexie felt the back of her head burning and looked back. To her surprise, the ever scary Choi Kazuki was looking at her from across the room. With a piercing gaze.
