Are you talking about me?

Heidi sighed and stopped correcting her. It was such a waste of words and mental strength as she knew the girl would still call her 'Miss Heidi' anyway. She could only hope that Lola would get used to it with time, and call her the name she had always hoped to hear from Amanda's children.

Bending to Lola's level, she ran a hand through her hair and raised her chin. "How do you like it here? Is there anything you do not like?"

"No." Lola replied almost instantly.

Heidi kept running her hands through her hair to comfort her as she let out sigh after sigh. "I shouldn't have fought with Amanda. As a result of our fight, my granddaughter had to suffer so much."

Lola pulled Heidi's hand off her head and chortled slightly. "Are you talking about me?"
