Obsession

"Yes, ma'am." He laughed playfully and took his laptop from the nightstand, ignoring her glare. He then made his way to the study and started working. 

Ten minutes into his work, he heard a faint patter of footsteps and knew that she was back. He was not sure whether he knew which room was the study—since there were two other rooms on the third floor aside from the study—so he stood up and opened the door… just in time to see her holding the tray of two coffee cups and opening the wrong door. 

"That's not the…" The last word "study" was swallowed when she pushed the door open. She was intrigued when she saw the room she had wrongfully entered. She had seen from outside that the light was on and thought that this would be the study. Who would have expected…
