Don't take things too far

Shera checked through the contract and nodded in satisfaction. She then took out yet another one and gave it to him, showing him where to sign.

"Why are there so many contracts?" He complained impatiently. "Employment contract, contract of confidentiality… What else is there to sign? Contract of existence?"

Shera grinned at his whiny expression. Although he complained, he signed every one of the contracts he was given. When he was finished, she took all of them and kept them in the file. Then, she held out a hand to him. "Happy collaboration? I would like to be more of your partner than your employer."

Carlos glanced at her hand and shook it suspiciously. "You seem to be a little too happy… besides, since when can you decide to be equal to your employee?"

She shrugged with a mischievous grin. "It's not every day that I get to employ genius doctors, not to mention that you are Leo's friend."
