Another fool

She ignored him and finished signing the contract, then scanned it and sent it back to Mr. Romano. 

"Why aren't you signing?" She asked when he stood on the spot with no intention to do anything. 

"I'm not going to collaborate with a swindler. As for revenge, I have something in store for him." He furrowed his brows. And to think that he had believed that one of Mr. Romano's requirements in choosing a business partner is loyalty. Urgh, the irony. 

"Sigh, take it as a wasted trip." Shera flopped back onto the bed then sat up the next instant. "No, it's not. We managed to swindle a swindler and are on our way to earn a quick buck." 

He sat on the bed next to her, deciding to forget about it for now. Unknowingly, they fell into a deep slumber and only woke up at 11 pm. 

Shera was the first to get up and was stumped. "How could we sleep so much?"
