Note: Not supposed to combine common and proper noun in the same sentence

(4) Collective Noun - battalion, group, platoon

(5) Mass Noun - rice, water, sugar, salt, pepper and hair

*** cannot be counted; cannot be measured

***when we talk about mass noun, we use singular form

(6) Abstract Noun - love, generosity, based on feelings, emotions

(7) Zero Plural Noun - Subject

Note: These are noun are always singular in nature, not in plural form

Examples: Equipment, Furniture, Information, Advice, Love, Sandwich, food, Music, Chocolate, Coffee, Milk, Wood (unless it is called forest or woods); Air, Gold, Silver, Jewelry, Illness.

(8) No Singular Plural - Doesn't have a singular form, always in plural form.

Examples: News, Species, Physics, Mathematics, Parts, Scissors, Eyeglasses, Shorts, Sweets, Accommodation.
