Where are we?

It looked like the new school stage, but it wasn't? The stage we were on had the new black paneled floor and the two story wooden roof and walls that were used to reflect sound. The red velvet curtains were replaced with black ones and closed. The stage lights were dimmed to a soft blue colour. I looked up at the creature who's lap I sat in. It was starring at me. Then it picked me up with ease and placed me standing next to the bench it sat on. I calmly walked towards the curtains. I'd only taken one or two steps before I heard the sound of a melodic piano. I swung around on my heels and saw the tall creature playing the instrument skillfully. I heard the curtains fly open and saw instead of rows and rows of red chairs. In their place was a vast, still lake. The smell of water and the crescendo of the piano seemed to overwhelm my senses. I fell to my knees and started crying silently. I cried out of understanding and excitement and happiness. The pianist seemed to make my emotions dance in a beautiful and violating manner.
