The War Room

[At the living room of the house]

Like a live feed, they were looking at the interaction inside the car.

"They'll definitely act tonight... and fast." Jason said after the live feed finished. Emily nodded in agreement.

"They will. In fact they might act this evening if my conjecture is correct." Emily added.

Celine immediately stood up and walked towards the door. "Jason follow us." They walked until they reached a painting of Liberty Leading the People, the famous piece by Eugène Delacroix. It depicted the great revolution that toppled changed the fate of France. This also depicted the rise of nationalism and inevitable downfall of imperial powers in Europe.

Celine clicked a certain jewel-like design on the frame of the painting. The wall suddenly went up and a dark hallway appeared. Celine reached for her phone and clicked a button which opened the lighting system of the hallway. Walking through the hallway for what seems like an hour. They stopped at a dead end. Celine reached again for her phone and clicked another button. This opened up two retina scans on both the left and right.

Emily went to right while placed herself at the rest. Both placed their retinas at the same time. The wall in the middle parted. Everyone entered the room. Jason marveled at the cerulean and light blue walls. The tiles was plain grey. In the middle was an oval table that had a transparent top. In the front of the table was an interface screen which can be seen even at far. There were three computers and another two rooms.

"Jason... Welcome to the War Room." Her leering face looked at Jason. "I think you know what the center area is for right? Then let me introduce the two rooms. The room on the utmost left is the laboratory while the one nearer to us on the left is the arms room. They walked towards the arms room and opened it and an array of different weapons from cold hard blades to light machines and even a mortar was waiting to bring havoc.

"We can't go to the research room. Off-limits for you. You might lose your mind marveling it." Celine said.

"Fine. fine. So what do we do?" Jason asked. Athena also appeared apparently also interested in joining what might happen.

"We make a plan. They will definitely come considering how clear her threat was." Emily replied

"I think we ambush them then beat them up. Also let's lay traps then beat them up." Lia suggested. Jason looked at Lia in amusement. It reminded him of someone.

After a moment of silence Jason raised his hand.

"I think Lia's idea is viable but... the problem depends on how skilled the people we are facing are. Also we need a proper ambush, considering how they definitely have information about all of you. except me. So the best course of action is either for me to do the ambush or for me to be the main attacker while someone does the ambush. Also I think we need to make sure that every floor is covered leaving Celine at the top floor. After all she's their main target."

"Mmmm. You have the nearly the same idea Jason, what I can add though is that Celine must remain at a room with no windows this will prevent sniper fire also with the others, we can lure them to an area where there is no windows or if not then let's cover the windows." Emily added.

They continued to refine the plan for an hour before Jason though of something. Jason realized he finally had to show some of his equipment then he might as well introduce them to the others. They will after all, work together.

"Wait for me, I will get some things. It might help us later." Jason said

"Hoooh. You're bringing out your toys?" Celine asked.

"Some of them, yes." Jason answered. He immediately left and went to his room taking three things and a small cube object.

Jason returned to the room at which everyone looked at him expectantly.

"Uhmmm, why are you guys, staring at me?" Jason asked.

"Just bring them out. We're curious what toys you brought." Celine's eyes shined with anticipation. The others were just as curious as Celine too.

Well... Jason brought them out.
