One by one the teacher checked for attendance and announced a few things. The first part of was basic warm-up to which Jason enjoyed it the most. Jason moved his body to fullest allowing every inch of muscle to lighten up. It has been a while since he last broke a sweat. He didn't had time to exercise much during his stay due to Celine always taking him to places.
After the warm-up, the stretching followed. The next thing that followed was the sprinting. They were divided in groups of four members that would sprint 200 meters. Name after name, group after group finished. It was finally Jason's turn.
On the starting line, Jason shifted his weight downwards by bending his legs while also bending his upper body as low as possible.
[Jason's Mind: Something's off. Why does my body feel a bit different?"]
Jason awoke from his thinking when he heard the whistle. He was delayed for a fraction of a section before. He ran first a bit sluggish which followed by a sharp sprint that overtook the first place by 7 seconds in the end. Everyone's eyes grew in astonishment particularly the teacher.
"19.8 seconds. This kid..." A soft voice from the teacher resonated through the silent field. Everyone was shocked... except for Jason. He felt weird. Something was definitely off with his body.
Celine threw a bottle of water which Jason catched. Celine made a thumbs up sign and a grin before returning back to her friends.
The next event was the the javelin throw. It was Jason's turn. Unlike the others who ran towards the line and threw the javelin, Jason stood a feet away from the line. Jason placed the javelin head level and with a strong stomp which shifted his weight, he threw the javelin. Jason fell to the ground face first though and this caused a chain of laughter until the javelin sharply fell.
A student ran to measure how far Jason's javelin placed. "98 meters." the student shouted.
Everyone fell silent again. Celine on the other hand was laughing even harder. Jason stood up brushing the dust and scratching his head. He jumped up and down still searching for the reason of the weird feeling.
Event after event Jason gave absurd records that were close to Olympic level. Such a talented student was virtually unknown before and it made the teacher grin. He was looking forward to the inter school competition. But first he must find a way to lure this monster to the school team.
"Free time or rather break time! Feel free to do whatever for the remainder of the time period, but get dressed and don't be late for your next class. I don't want the following teacher complaining to me that students are entering the class not on uniform. Jason can I talk to you for a minute." the teacher said. Jason followed the teacher under the tree where they talked a bit.
The teacher tried to recruit Jason at which Jason replied he would think about it. Jason wanted to join deep down though, but he's occupied by being a bodyguard of Celine, studies and his main mission in coming to this timeline.
Jason returned back to the field and seated on the grass. He was overlooking at the people in the field. "What a peaceful time." Jason softly remarked. "If I was born in such a time, would I have grown differently?"
Jason wondered and was lost in thought once again when Athena's voice called his attention."Jason. Jason!" Jason took the earpiece which was in his pocket...
