First Encounter(Part 2)
"Jason be careful those three are Zarkians, the one on the middle is the strongest. A General-Rank while the two are Captain-Ranks." Athena warned Jason through the earpiece.
Jason was surprised about this and was about to say something when the two Captain-Ranked Zarkians charged him while the General-Rank immediately moved upstairs.
They attacked Jason relentlessly to a corner when Jason shouted,"Lia, Now!"
Lia came out of hiding from behind a curtain that was behind Jason and activated a machine that produced a blinding light. Jason immediately attacked back using Velophon, increasing the speed that removed the arm of one while nearly decapitating another. He continued to strike until they arrived in a certain area of the corridor.
Jason stopped attacking and activated the gloves making the nanites scattered in the floor to form into sharp needles. This pierced the feet of the two Zarkians, making the one with the removed arm stumble downwards. Jason charged immediately going in for the kill when a shot from a window came.
Jason grinned, he knew that there was a sniper and dodged the bullet but not stopping from moving forward. Lia took out a sniper rifle and from a hidden spot covered with a curtain shot the sniper team down with two silent shots.
"Stupid snipers, too eager to shoot. tsk tsk. If that was me I would have waited when Jason was closer for the kill." Lia spouted insults to the snipers for a moment.
Jason closed in for the kill when the other Zarkian moved to block him. Jason activated Atrophon to slow his perception and threw Velophon activating its speed up ability to hit the stumbled Zarkian in the head. The Zarkian died with eyes open.
Jason then continued to clash with the other Zarkian. Jason managed to retrieve Velophon from the corpse and the the clash went on for minutes. Jason signaled Lia to go to the upper floors. Jason knew that with the Zarkian reflexes a sniper shot will not work. Lia understood from the situation that she could do nothing and followed Jason.
"I never expected to meet my first Zarkian here. And this early on." Jason said suddenly after Lia went upstairs.
The person was surprised on what he heard Jason say. It was followed by a killing intent that alerted Jason. He knew he hit the right spot to provoke the Zarkian. They stood on a stand still.
[Second floor]
The left team got their team trimmed to three after two of the grappling hooks got a weak foundation to hold on. Unknown to them, Celine and the other's loosened the bolts and foundations of the porches in both areas. This led to two unlucky individuals falling to ground in great pain which immobilized them badly.
On the corridor, three of the remaining members got hit by tranquilizer darts while one of them got bathed by in hydrochloric acid giving him burns of various degrees. Luckily the other remaining members managed to apply cold water using those from their water canteens.
The three members walked cautiously through the corridor. They passed the hidden Karen who was hiding in the cloak that Jason lent her. After the backmost soldier passed Karen sprung into action covering the mouth and slitting the surprised soldier.
The other two continued to proceed forward unaware one of them died. Karen then swiftly went for the second soldier piercing a stiletto knife through the neck.
By this time the frontmost soldier noticed what happened when the hand touching his shoulder slipped. He immediately run forward while shooting at his back. He looked back and felt a cold blade on his neck. "Surrender, unless you want to end like your two friends their." Karen whispered.
The soldier looked at his two comrades who died without knowing how and gulped in. He raised his hand. Karen knocked him out and tied him. Karen placed him in the room next to her and was about to go upstairs when he noticed a tall guy wearing civilian clothes.
Although the guy was wearing civilian clothes, Karen could feel the murderous aura around him. Karen immediately got alerted and also released her own killing intent which made the guy grin.
[Right Corridor]
Sasha pushed a button that brought down two sculptures down to the soldiers killing two and crushing the legs another one. Then Sasha then asked Celine to activate the trap that released the same gas from the front that made all of them scratch in pain.
Sasha then approached the soldiers who were under hallucinogens and tazed them one by one. She tied them and dragged them inside a room, with the help of Lia who just came to the second floor.
As they went out of the room, they felt the murderous aura of two people from the left corridor. Both of them felt shivers. Sasha even lost some strength from her legs from the thick aura of murder.
Sasha opened her laptop and looked at the live feeds of the cameras of the left corridor and the first floor. Sasha sighed with relief when she saw Jason was still alive and was only stalled by someone. She taught the reason that guy managed to reach the second floor was because Jason was dead.
"Dangerous." It was all Sasha could say. Her head immediately went to action and decided against going the left. Sasha asked Lia to reinforce the third floor while she went to the first floor to help Jason.
[First floor]
Jason had the advantage fighting the Zarkian. The problem was he couldn't find the opening he needed to make the killing blow, or atleast a fatal strike. The Zarkian was clearly just stalling for time but he also knew this guy will kill him if he turned his back for a second.
"Jason, I'm coming down. I'll throw a flashback immediately get ready to strike him." Sasha said through an earpiece. Jason remained poker faced and attacked relentlessly. As soon as he saw of Sasha on the corner Jason immediate closed his eyes. A loud bang and a bright light filled the corridor.
Jason striked him with his eyes closed. He managed to hit something deep. Jason pulled back. He opened his eyes and he got the chest. The man was staggered and with the last of his strength he charged wanting to bring Jason with him.
Jason activated his shield and used it as a bouncing platform that brought him high. With a downward motion, Jason slashed the Zarkian into two. Jason smiled. Jason immediately checked the two Zarkians and indeed found their energy cores in the heart. While the main alien body was in the cerebrum of the head.
Jason thanked Sasha. Sasha told Jason about the what's happening in the second floor. They went to the second floor... Never would have Jason thought his first tough fight will occur within a month of coming to this timeline.
