Sunrise makes people beautiful

Emily breathed deeply. She looked at Jason and lightly slapped both her cheeks to give herself confidence. "I want to say that you were amazing a while ago. The way you moves marvelled me. so much tha-"

"Just get straight to the point Emily. I'm a bit sleepy." Jason interjected. Jason was in fact a bit frustrated that someone cut his sleep. He somewhat didn't his sleep being interrupted because he would always wake up either sluggish or grumpy.

"Uhmmm. Okay." Emily got flustered. "Thank you. I guess. For saving me a while ago."

Jason nodded. "It's fine, my job is to keep you guys safe. As a guy and as a friend."

"As a friend huh..." Emily looked sad for a second. "Soooo. What have you been up to lately in this room of yours?" She smiled and asked Jason.

Jason saw that second long sadness and felt like alarmed because he might have said something wrong. "Uhmmm, Just building stuff and reading books."

"Do you mind if I look around?" Emily asked.

"Sure, uhmm so this-" Jason started talking about the things in his room. They talked about a lot of other things too. Jason felt like he had heard a lot of gossips from Emily that were particularly interesting, like the childhood of Celine, about Karen and a lot of unexpected information like Emily's love for interior design. They played around too also, Jason taught her on how some of his stuff works; all of these until day break.

They went to the rooftop and watched the sun rise.

"So beautiful. Did you know that it was my dream to watch the sunrise and sunset with someone important to me." Emily blurted out

"Well... You've fulfilled that dream miss." Jason said jokingly. He looked at Emily who was looking at the sunrise. For that moment he thought that Emily was beautiful. Her sparkling eyes and colored hair somewhat her dreamy. Jason wished this picturesque scenario to forever stay in place.

"I know." Emily looked back at Jason and smiled. Jason smiled back.

Jason pointed at the roof floor somewhere in the middle. Emily looked at where he was pointing. "That was where I fell two months ago." Jason never thought that in two months he would meet people he could call friends in this era.

Emily approached the place Jason pointed. "Ohhh. So you're the reason why there's cracks here and a big one too. Tsk tsk. you are indeed fat and heavy." Emily said.

"Hey! I'm not fat. I'm a man okay, That's why I'm heavy!" Jason showed his biceps. Both of them laughed at it.

"It's getting warmer here, let's go down." Emily said. They went back down and Jason was supposed to go back to his rome when Emily suddenly tugged his shirt.

"You're a man right? Then, will you take responsibility for something you did?" Emily asked suddenly.

Jason was taken aback from the question. "Yes, Maybe. Sure."

Emily giggled. "Okay then. Soooo. Will you go out a date with me?"

"Yes. Wait what! Uhmm wait did you-" Jason suddenly felt alarmed.

"Good. I won't take no for an answer you dumbwit. Tuesday evening after school. Don't worry about Celine I'll take care of that part. You are not allowed to be late or even ditch me. Ditch me and you will know the repercussions of ditching a Starov" Emily said. She walked away not waiting for Jason's reply.

After she was gone, Jason stood there alone dazed for a moment. "Did she just call me dumbwit? How dare- Wait that's not the main issue. A date! Oh my... I don't even know what to wear. Fuck! What am I gonna do!" Jason got loss in thought that he walked towards his room and returned back to sleep.
