Three days ago, Rhianna called her father and Calvin to set their schedule for important meeting. She did not tell her father about her future husband and his family. She only told Calvin about the plan. She did not tell them who yet but Calvin booked a function room for it at the hotel.
Lunch date was schedule they managed to put their time on it. Ocean and Rhianna arrived first then Huang Family.
They were chatting here and there about business as usual. Rhianna's family was not yet there. She looked at the time. Well, it is still early for the said time.
After a few minutes the door opened, Mr. Park and Calvin came in. Huang Family and her father were shocked to see them. Only Calvin did not.
"What a surprise to see you, my friend?" Mr. Park, Rhianna's father said while shaking hands to Mr. Huang who stood up when he saw him. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, I am here to meet the family of Rhianna. What about you?" Mr. Huang replied.
"I am Rhianna's father. What is this about?" Mr. Park looked at Rhianna.
"You are her father?" Mrs. Huang in shocked. "So, this is Rhea's only daughter. I only saw her when she was still young. Oh my!"
"Yes, she is." Mr. Park smiled.
Rhianna was indeed confused with the exchanged conversations. 'Do I know them when I was a kid?'
"Oh, my dear!" Mrs. Huang said. "You forgot about it right?" She was looking at her with a smiled on her face.
They were already at the table provided by the hotel with some foods already served. The old ones continued talking while eating.
"So, my daughter is getting married with your youngest son. I see." Mr. Park smiled. "I did not know that they had a relationship so deep. The thing I found out about my daughter situation when she already gave birth. And the kids were three years old already. She was very secretive to me."
"Ocean too, he did not tell us about being in a relationship until recently." Mr. Huang replied.
"Well, they are really meant to be. If only Rhea was her with us. She will surely so happy to witness that our children are going to get married." Mrs. Huang said.
"Yes, yes. I remembered you two were talking about marrying them when they grew up." Mr. Park was laughing aloud.
"Yes, I remembered that too because Ocean was always following Rhianna wherever she goes when we met each other." Mrs. Huang burst out laughing too. "He even told Rhea that he will marry her daughter only."
Ocean and Rhianna looked at each other because both of them did not remember any of those when they were kids.
"Why? I do not remember anything about it." Ocean asked.
"Me too." Rhianna second the motion.
"You two do not remember at all? Really?" Mrs. Huang asked in confused. Ocean and Rhianna nodded the same.
"Well, we used to visit your parents' house when you two were seven or eight years old. Rhea and I were best friends since we were kids." Mrs. Huang told them the details.
Ocean suddenly remembered. "You were the little girl who always loves staying at the pool every time we went to Park Mansion."
"Oh my gosh! You were that boy who always brought a basketball with you." Rhianna's eyes widen.
"Now you two remembered already." Mrs. Huang laughed.
All of them laughed as they continued sharing their past and present situations. Both families were delightful about their children.
Ocean and Rhianna did not expect the they were destined to cross paths after so many years.
It must be really meant to be.
