BEFORE THE PROPHET HOOD PART 1
BATTLE OF FIJAAR
A never ending series of wars was on in pre Islamic Arab. Battle of Fijaar was one of those fires and bloody battles. This battle was fought between Quraysh and Qias tribe. As the Quraysh was justifiably right, Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam took the side of Quraysh tribe, but he assaulted no one. Qias tribe dominated the battlefield initially, but they were later empowered by Quraysh tribe. The war thus ended on a compromise.
HILFUL FU'DOOL
The endless series of was destroyed hundreds of households, there was no peace.
After the battle of Fijaar was over, some peace loving people came forward and launched a reformatory movement one of the prophet's uncle Zubair Ibn Abdul muthalib propose that some concrete steps should be taken to keep the situation under control.
As a result the elders of quraish sat face to face and a treaty was reached, it read:
1)we will eradicate restlessness from the country
2) we will provide protection to travellers
3)we will help the destitute
4)we will stretch a helping hand to operate people
5)we will not let any operator let any operator to operate from within Mecca
The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alaihissalam was also present in the Treaty and loved been associated with it.
CONSTRUCTION OF HOLY KA'ABA
ka'aba was then a roofless construction the walls were not very high, it had the height of a man, the building was in a low lying area, the rain water used to flow towards towards the direction of Ka'aba to check this, a dam was built but this Dam was too weak to stop the gushing of water inside and it collapsed The wall of ka'aba.
Water used to damage the holy structure of ka'aba therefore the people of Mecca decided to rebuild the Holy Kaaba much stronger. All tribes joint hands to rebuild it. The construction work was divided among the tribes because nobody wanted to be deprived of this noble deed. But the installation of 'hajar Al aswad' a black stone, became an issue, Every tribe claimed the honour. the Sword took the place of spades, this dispute lasted for 4 days, on the fifth day,an elderly Quraysh suggested that we should appoint a judge to solve this issue and the first person who enters a sanctuary in the morning would be the judge. then Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was the first one to enter Kaaba the next morning. The holy Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alaihe Wasallam asked all the claimant tribes to appoint their representatives and each tribe will send only one man only. then, he spread a sheet on the ground and put the holy relic on it and asked the representatives of all tribes to hold onto the corners of the sheet and raise it. when they lifted the stone in this manner up to the proper height, The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam inserted the stone in its place this way of Bloody war was averted, the new building of Kaaba was roofed but due to insufficient construction material a part of land was left out, and new foundations were laid the left out part is known as 'Hatim'.
