Blood Sparrow

The Leon was relieved when he saw the rune. It was something he had used before on himself. He was confident it was safe he had the Frost Snake come to him.

He stamped the rune on it's forehead. It quickly sunk into its skin. Leon was impressed. It easily absorbed the rune expected of a beast with Dragon Blood. He took out the Ice crystal liquid and entered half of the liquid left onto the rune.

The Frost snake wrapped up and ice grew around it and formed an egg. The egg was swirled with a mixture of Blue, White and purple.

Leon sat by and watched. It took around an hour and the egg solidified into a purple colour. After another hour the egg broke. It had cracks grow out from the bottom.

A purple snake landed to the ground. It was around Half a meter long. It's scales like amethyst. It's eyes the same black glass like colour. Must started to form as it stood. It's body so cold it was freezing the air.

"You finally comprehended NetherWorld Ice. So what's new?"

The snake looked at a tree outside the cave. It opened its mouth and four chains grew out. They moved out turning and wrapping binding the tree.

"That is the NetherWorld Sealing Chain. Interesting, not as strong as I expected. But I can see a lack proficiency and looks like the skill was too high level for your body. It'll get stronger. So did you learn Ghost Form?"

The snake shook its head. It disappered and appeared a few meters away instantly.

"Shadow Walk? No, it's similar could you do it again."

The snake shook its head saying it'll need to recover for a while before it could use it again. Leon gave it some of the Ice crystal Liquid. He stopped caring about it as much. He just planned to leave enough for the tiger and tail later.

The snake used it again. Leon was able to get a good look at the ability.

"It should be that ability. Ghost Walk. I saw it used by a Shadow Walker, it was almost the same except it moved kilometers in a step."

The snake felt it's pitiful meter wasn't worth anything.

"It was a Bluestar beast. It had also probably recently gotten the ability as it wasn't as good at landing on the right coordinates. So you are much better out then it. By the time you're a Bluestar beast this skill will be a walk in the park for you."

The snake nodded it then started trying to absorb ghost enemy from the surrounding. It now had NetherWorld ice it was much easier to do now. It wanted to learn Ghost Form.

The Shadow Walker was a beast he had contracted in his past life. It had died in a few months and wasn't as good at fighting. He barely remembered it, if he hadn't seen Ghost Walk he would have forgotten about it. The Shadow Walker was a horse like beast. Like its name it looked like a Shadow walking. The Beast was a nine voidstar beast. Leon had mainly just used it for traveling.

The Beast was known for its ability Shadow walk. It wasn't that it was the only beast that could learn the ability rather it was the Shadow Walker's ancestor that created the ability. Other beast could get it but they would never be able to get it to as high as a level of skill.

Many abilities were like that. Like Flame Step. It was the ability of the Nightmare Beast. But all fire Beast could learn it. However none would be able to use the skill like a Nightmare Beast.

"That's why I'll have to combine that beast to the tiger." Leon said in his mind as he smirked.

Leon let the Snake jump on to his head and grabbed the tiger and tail into his arm. He then walked up to the Blood Sparrow.

"Now I need to train you." It was going to be his most difficult task. He had never raised a beast so weak before.

After picking up the small sparrow into his other hand he went out and the cave to look for some beast. The best way of learning was by doing. Like an eagle he was going to through his chicks of the cliff to let them learn how to fly.

The Blood Forest had much more beast then the Desert. Because of the high energy density beast strived here. It didn't take Long for Leon to find a beast.

It was a Blood centipede. It was two meters long and was wrapped around a tree. Leon had the Blood Sparrow attack.

The Blood Sparrow flew straight at it. The centipede saw the sparrow attacking. It ignored it. The centipede was a Five redstar beast, the Blood Sparrow hadn't even cultivated so it didn't see the sparrow as an opponent.

The sparrow stopped above the centipede, it then chirped. The centipede turned its head to the sparrow. It opened its mouth and a ball of red blood energy hit the sparrow. The sparrow was sent flying towards Leon.

Catching the sparrow Leon took out a throwing knife and killed the centipede, having the knife pierce its head. He went up to the centipede emptied out its blood.

"Looks this isn't going to work, plan B then."

Leon and the beast went back to the cave. He made all the beast help him dig a hole. The tigers used Its paws while the tail floated around motivating it. The NetherWorld Frost Snake used Its tail to scoop out dirt. Leon used a sword as a shovel and they quickly dug a hole.

"Frost Snake cover it with ice, make it so nothing can leak out."

The snake nodded and used Its Frost Ray to freeze the whole inside of the hole.

"You two watch the entrance, I'll help this sparrow get stronger."

The two nodded. The snake slithered and watched the entrance. The tiger also went up, but it lied down and fell asleep. The tail snake kept moving around keeping watch.

Leon had the Bird enter the bowl like ditch.

"I know you can't understand me but just know I'm going to make you learn blood absorb."

Leon started to pour the Blood he had collected from beast he killed. He poured the Blood of the Blood tiger he had recently killed and the Blood Centepide.

The Blood Sparrow started to enjoy the Blood pouring on it. It went underneath the fall of the Blood, as Leon poured and started to bathe in it. It shook its head and chirped. Leon started running the Blood Orbs art. The sparrow didn't why but it felt energy flow in it. Or also stopped playing and sat in the puddle.

The Blood energy flowed to Leon and the sparrow. It wasn't as fast as the Frost snake or the serpentine tiger but it was enough for Leon at the moment. He could easily reach the second level.

It took a few more minutes and Leon had finished pouring all the Blood. He sat at the edge of the hole and put his hand into the Blood. The sparrow was now inside the Blood cultivating. It didn't need to breath as it could use the Blood energy as replacement.

Few hours later they broke reached the peak of level one of the Blood Orbs art. The art had five levels, each level formed a Blood Orb. Reaching the peak of the first level allowed Leon to form one Blood Orb rune.

The sparrow had grown a little bigger. It had learned Blood Absorb. Leon let it absorb all the Blood before he gave it the rune. The sparrow had also gotten a little fluffier.

"Blood Absorb is forming feathers of Blood energy, Soon it'll look like a ball of feathers."

The Blood Sparrow absorbed all the Blood it flew up in fornt of Leon. It had reached a cultivation of one redstar.

"Now absorb this rune."Leon formed the rune quickly drawing it. It was a very simple rune. He didn't bother changing it as he could do that later when he finished mastering the whole art.

He stamped the rune onto its back. The rune stayed for a while. Leon had to let it adapt to the new ability. Soon the Sparrow opened its Wing and screed.

The rune sunk into it. Leon moved back a little. The sparrow flew up almost hitting the ceiling of the cave. It then held its wings down as Blood sphere like object came out of its back. It then flew back down.

"That's the Blood Orb, I'll have to help it purify it a few times. The quality of the Blood was too poor."

The Blood feathers on it had gone back to the way they were before it absorbed the Blood. All that blood energy had been used to make the orb.

"You can finally understand me?"

The sparrow nodded. The Blood Orb behind it floated around. The sparrow played with it controlling by letting it spin around its head. The Blood Orb was barely and inch in diameter. It was dark red sphere made of viscous liquid.

"Let's fight some beast again shall we."

Leon leaves with his other beast back into the forest.

A large chicken like beast was the sparrows opponent now. It was six redstar beast called the Blazing chicken. The chicken was five meters tall as it walked through the forest.

"This beast should have entered from the Desert. Blood sparrow make quick work of it."

The sparrow bulleted towards the chicken as Leon, Frost Snake, tiger and tail watched. The Sparrow screeched and transformed the orb behind it into a disc. It then shot the disc at the chicken.

The chicken seeing the Sparrow, charged. It opened its mouth and flames blew out when it got close enough. The Blood energy disc cut the flames and went through. The disc was eventually stopped so the Blood Sparrow called it back.

Leon seeing this told it what to so through soul vibrations. The Blood Sparrow flew up into the air. It then controlled the Blood Orb to form a cone on its beak. It then pulled its wings back and aimed for the chicken as it fell.

The chicken seeing this started running. When it saw it couldn't escape it created a barrier of Fire around its body.

The sparrow hit the barrier. But it was not strong enough to smash through completely, it deflected a little and scratched the side of the chicken causing it to Bleed.

"The fight's decided." Leon said with a smirk.

The Blood Sparrow used Its ability blood absorb causing the point were the chicken was bleeding to have its blood energy flow out to it. The chicken didn't seem to notice it used Its Flame again at the Bird.

The fight took a while. The Sparrow stopped stacking but just dodged. It slowly absorbed all the Blood energy it could before the Chicken collapsed. It then killed the Chicken with the Blood disc.

"That took a too much time. Try to be a little faster, these three almost joined because they got tired of watching."

The Beast nodded. That was very slow try harder. The Frost Snake nodded it jumped on to Leon's head.

"You're to big for my head now, you'll have to walk on your own."

The tiger and tail laughed. You'll have to walk now as well.

The snake didn't seem bothered it slithered around Leon's neck and put its head on Leon's.

"I guess that works."

The tiger and tail clicked their tongue, our time will come just you wait.

"Blood Sparrow come to me let's go back to the city. We have to meet Pace." He looked at the tiger and tail. "And combine you with a Dream beast."

The tiger and snake tails eyes shined. The tiger gave a cute roar while the snake hissed in agreement.

Leon and his beast ran through the forest. He fought another beast on the way to the city. It was a Blood wolf which he had the Blood Sparrow kill. The fight also took a while. So he reached the city at night.
