Fire Beast Tiger Jewel, Frist Contract

Leon had awakened his soul book yesterday. After having the most relaxing sleep of his life, he went down stairs. His parents happily discussing something on the table. His father turns to him.

"Leon well done! You awakened your soul book. And your primal beast was a Fire Bird. Not only does it have an above average potential it also has the most evolution paths in the clan.

You can go and travel outside the town but make sure to stay safe. Even if your summoning beast die don't let that get you down. Everyone's summoning beast die sometimes the soul book will eventually recover."

They both then look at each other. Now his mother speaks. "Leon now that you have a soul book I want you to have this beast as a present from your father and I. It might not be anything amazing but this all we could afford." his mother reaches from her side and takes out a box. She opens the box to show a red gem carved in the shape of a tiger. "This is a beast jewel that is made from sealing a beast. All you need to do is drop your blood onto it and it will form a contract and breakout the jewel into its real form."

Leon looked as if he was about to cry. "Thank you mother. Thank you father."

He slowly reaches for the box. He grabbed it and tightly holds it to his chest. "Mother and father don't worry with this I'll be easily be able to participate at the coming Flamesmith clan competition. I may have started late but I'll make up for it through hard work."

He then bowed to his parents and left the house.

Leon ran into the desert he kept running until he came to an abrupt stop. "The people who have been following finally left." He takes out a new mask and black hood and uses formless aura to disguise his presence.

"They should have been sent by the clan head to monitor the first week of awakening of all disciples to check there potential, and decision making skills, but have a limited range in which they must stay in."

He takes the long way around to the Sunset auction. Over there he meets ..... .... couldn't tell if it was Leon but concluded it was him as Leon held the VIP token and wore similar clothes. Leon got straight to the point. "I want ten ice resistant pills and ten fire resistant pills."

... assuming he's in an hurry took out the pills and said "that will be forty thousand..."

Leon pays for the pills and leaves the auction house to go back to the volcano.

My parents gave me the same fire tiger as they did in my past life. When I had awakened my soul book at the age of five my parents had given me a Fire Tiger. It was something they bought for me when I was born. In my past life it was my favorite beast as not only was it my first beast- it also revealed my talent for the fire element when I was raising.

By the age of fifteen I had spent most my time trying to evolve it from the two star rank to something higher. But when I was close to finally evolving it suddenly died to a fast moving poison. I started sulking at my lost.

Then assassins had attacked. It was soon after I had lost my beast at the time I was still unmotivated about cultivation and still had not recovered from the lost, both physically and mentally. Because of that I wasn't able to help much. My other beast weren't as strong as they could be as I spent most my time on the beast with low potential. I joined the fight to but all my beast were kiled easily, not even cannon fodder to the yellow soul beast. It had always been one of my greatest regrets.

If I hadn't cared so much about the beast I would have been able help out the fight and might have even prevented my parents from dying.

This time I'll use the Fire Prism Soul jewel to level up the fire tiger.

Leon thought about the abilities of the Fire Tiger. It was a low two star ranked beast. One of the more common kind found in and outside the clan. The Beast abilities it naturally learns should be fire claw and berserk flame. Berserk flame stood out as it raised the strength of the fire tiger by a ten percent and twenty percent when completely mastered. However it still wouldn't be strong enough to fight beast from higher levels.

Beast abillities were skills and techniques that Beast naturally learn on being born. A one star will learn one ability while two star will learn two and so on so forth. The fastest way to the increase number abilities a beast has is to evolve it or engrave runes that manifest after mastering an art into them. You could also train them slowly through constant practice.

"Right now I only have the Pure Fire Cloud rune. It should give the abilities Fire Rain or Scorching Red Cloud. Clan members should all have the ability Fire Rain, as Scorching Red Clould has still not been discovered. It should be the person who stole the art that used it for the first time."

"For now I'll raise the mastery of the art to as high as I can make it reach. And then I'll see what ability I get."

Thinking about it I should be able to raise the fire tiger in a unique way. I won't be able to raise it like normal contracted beast because of its truly low potential without any outstanding points. There was a method I gained in past life that I never got to use. The method is risky and could kill me and it but it's the only way...
