Mount Vulcan, Ifrit Beast

Leon landed as near as he could to the volcano he unsummoned the Griffin and had to run the rest of the way.

Leon ran through the chaotic area. He used Lightning Step to run towards that tall piercing volcano. It pierced into the sky. There was a layer of thick cloudy smoke that blocked the sky.

Leon took the long way around as he saw Volcanic Stone Lion. It was like a stone statue that was cutltivsting. You would think it was dead but Leon knew it was very much alive. It was Bluestar beast.

The scenery around was that of a barren land. The ground was dry and cracked. There was a smell of poisonous fumes. Leon had covered his face with a cloth that had a filter rune on it.

Leon Heard a neigh and saw a nightmare beast enter into the smoke filled sky. The parted smoke combined and the beast disappeared.

Leon knew he was at the bottom of the food chain here. The weakest beast Here were of the Greenstar level. Leon could barely fight them. They were much more aggressive and territorial. They had fought more and were better at surviving.

Leon ran while using formless aura to hide. He would sometimes hide while the hundred meter tall Flaming dinosaur ran by.

The run took around an hour because of how much he had to hide. As He entered a cave that led into the volcano.

The volcano was parted into to two parts. The outer part and inner part. The outer part was where most people were. The inner part was much deeper inside. You would have to keep on walking to the depths of that volcano.

Leon tried his best to sense as much as he could. He had long since unsummoned the Dragon. In such a Fire energy dense place it would stick out like a sore thumb. All the beast would notice it as it entered the area. As for formless aura Leon could barely hide himself. It was impossible to hide the epitome of ice in a field of Fire.

The Dragon couldn't enter using ghost form as there were strong beast in the other realm here. Other then Dragon beast, normal ghost beast could gain their memories when they grew old enough. They would then be able to cultivate and try to reform their bodies at high energy spaces like the volcano. The Dragon had still entered Leon's body just in case things got dangerous.

Leon walked down the melting cave. The walls dropped with magma and the floor growing hotter.

And the end of the cave was a large opening. He could see cultivators in the corners. They all were in deep cultivation and weren't paying attention to the surrounding. They did have a beast that was paying attention to the surrounding. The beasts saw Leon and ignored him. He was weak and hadn't provoked them. They then went back to sleeping.

Leon saw the beast that were cultivating with the Summoners. They were a fearsome and had strong aura. One was a Volcanic giant another was a flaming Roc.

Leon made his way through the opening and entered another cave. This cave was more steep and twisty. He walked down it until he reached a pool of magma at it's end.

Leon took off his clothes and jumped in. He started running the Vermilion Burning Hear art. He then swam in the magma downwards.

As he reached the bottom the magma ended. Rather then the ground their was an opening to a large area. Leon jumped out of the magma. He started falling, he used the eruption art and lightning step to slow his fall.

Leon landed on the ground and saw the sky of magma above him. It all floated above. There big magma blobs that came out of the ground and joined with the magma in the sky. While some magma blobs would come out of the sky and fall to the ground.

Leon could feel the dense fire energy. It was the densest energy he had ever felt. His body had multiple popping sounds and had lumps form on it. The sound was the veins and arteries bursting because of his blood boiling.

The Dragon in Leon's body responded and sent ice energy to cool Leon's body. Leon also heard the Blood Harpy cry, it wanted to use its holy energy to heal Leon however it was stuck in Its egg form and couldn't go any thing.

"The Ifrit beast should be over there." Leon had stabilised and could move properly now.

The underground was like a new world on its own. There were magma trees that formed weirdly. There were even mountains. The mountains were more like magma rising up but was stuck to the ground.

Leon started walking. He heard a sharp screech. He hid behind a magma tree and used his formless aura to the maximum.

A golden three legged crow like Bird flew by. It had golden feathers and a golden flame. It saw Leon through the magma tree and formless aura. It however nodded seeing him and allowed him to stay, it then flew away.

Leon didn't know what happened. He thought he had hidden from the beast and continued.

The bird had seen the Phoenix aura in Leon's body and allowed him to stay. Leon would never know how he had escaped death coincidently.

Leon walked for a while and reached the place he had found the Ifrit Beast.

Like he had thought there was no beast here. It was expected wouldn't be in the exact spot he had found it in his last life.

"I'll have to look for it."

Leon started running using Lightning Step. He claimed the nearby mountain of magma. He was high and could see far into the the inner area of the Volcano. Far away he saw pyramid of Fire he had never seen before. Even while walking around and up the mountain he couldn't see it. It was tall and reached the magma sky. Leon was sure it should be possible to see it on the ground.

Leon walked a few steps lower and the pyramid disappeared.

"So you can only see it from here? I don't remember it being there in my past life. I might as well see what it is since I'm here."

Leon started running to the general locAtion of the pyramid. He couldn't see it anymore but he remembered its location form the top of the mountain.

The walk was quick. As he was running he hit a slanted wall.

"So the pyramid I'd physically present here. There should he an opening at the top to enter."

Leon climbed up. It was as if he was walking on air. He was climbing the invisible pyramid like stairs. At the top Leon had the magma sky a head above him. The top of the pyramid had distorted space, like a window, Leon could see inside the pyramid. It was mainly empty.

Leon jumped in. He didn't fell like he entered another space So he knew he was still in the same inner volcano area. He landed on the ground. Underneath him was a large formation with a Black sword stuck in it.

Leon looked at the formation for a while. It was something he had never seen before. He only understood that it had something to do with space.

Leon felt a an insidious form of seduction from the sword. He had a strong urge to pull it out. Leon knew that ment bad news.

"What is this pyramid? Why is it so ominous? There is something wrong here. How could such a huge structure disappear without leaving a trace behind?"

Leon felt weird like he was trapped mentally. The world seemed to simplify, he had forgotten about the Ifrit Beast. He had two choices in front of him. One was to pull the sword out and find out what it led to. The other was to not pull it out and spend the rest of his life never knowing what this formation was.

Leon was a decisive person, it took him a second to pull the black sword out. As he did it disintegrated.

"So it was already out of energy and was on the point of breaking." Leon felt disappointed, the sword was clearly some type of legendary weapon at it's peak.

As L in thought this the formation activated. It started spinning and sucking everything in. Leon was about it be sucked in when the Dragon appeared and wrapped around Leon. It then used Ghost walk to appear on the edge of the pyramid out of the formation. It then entered Leon's body again.

Leon had to the pyramid walls as the formation formless a portal.

The Dragon told Leon he had done something awful. Even it had been enchanted into pulling that sword out and wasn't able to stop Leon.

The portal formed. It was a window to another world. A pillar of string chaotic energy Burt out. The top of the pyramid broke off and the pyramid papered in the inner magma zone.

Leon felt his slaughter qi flare up. The energy in that pyramid was a type of chaos energy. It attracted his slaughter qi and was making it lose control.

The pillar of energy eventually settled. The portal could be seen through clearly. It led to a world with a blood red sky. Leon could sense the dense amount of chaos energy in that world.

The first thought that came to Leon's mind was, "Is that the Hell plane?"

If it was, it made sense how the Ifrit Beast appeared. However it would also bring a lot more confusions. Leon had never suspected the Hell Plane would connect with the real realm. It was more plausible that a beast randomly mutated until it formed into a new species that was similar to the Ifrit species in hell and he had found it.

It was impossible for the hell plane to connect as Leon knew it was separated by barrier formed by a Heavenly God Beast. This had made impossible to bend space or go through it to the Hell plane. It was its own separate existence. The real realm and Hell Plane could never connect or over lap. Looks like he was wrong as the evidenced was in front of him.

Leon was sure it was the Hell Plane because of the strong chaos energy. Leon cringed at the fact he had just formed a path to the most dangerous plane in existence.

He started climbing up and leaving. There was no way he was going to stay here. This pyramid had been somehow felt with in hiss past life. It would be dept with in this life. Leon got claimed up the pyramid wall and got out. He was about to jump for the magma in the sky when He heard a roar. A small beast jumped out form the portal.

The beast was around a meter tall. It had four curved horns, two at the front the other two on the side. It stood on two goat like legs. It's skin was a complete burning red. It had flames cover its whole body. It's ahead was human like other then the horns So was the torso and arms.

The beast saw Leon looking at it. It's flaming body shrunk rapidly and disappeared. A flame appeared in front of Leon. The flame expanded into the beasts shape, this all happened in moments. It floated, stating at Leon, it looked confused like it couldn't figure out what Leon was. Leon also stared back into its pitch black eyes.

"The Ifrit came out from the portal! That is the Hell Plane! Does that mean this Ifrit just walked into the portal without knowing where it would end up?"

Leon then wondered what should he do. Rune or try to contract it. As he was thinking the Ifrit Beast moved closer and said something.

Leon couldnt understand because he didn't speak Hell.

The Ifrit nodded an smiled closer to Leon. It brought its small hands to Leon's chest and felt it.

Leon had no idea what was happening. He hadn't worn his clothes as they would be burnt to ash here. So he was standing naked. This Ifrit Beast was for some reason listening to his beast beating.

The Ifrit nodded. It then said something again which Leon didn't understand. As Leon wondered the Dragon said something to Leon.

"Leon, that beast wants to form a contract with you!"

Leon finally understood what it was doing. He knew the Dragon could understand it as they were born with knowledge of all languages.

Leon happily accepted. He summoned his old soul book. The black and silver book appeared again. It flipped pass the silver and black eggs. Then the lightning Griffin page and to a blank one.

The Ifrit saw the page and nodded. Leon dropped his blood on that page with the Ifrit and they formed A contract. This was another way to do the contract with a beast that wanted to contract with the summoner.

The Ifrit Beast entered the soul book. Leon took the soul book back into his body and ran. The Ifrit was a baby beast, it most likely had a parent and he was no way strong enough to deal with an adult Ifrit.

He jumped into the magma sky and swam back to the cave he had entered it though. He then climbed back up and out or the opening. The cultivators were still cultivating. He ran out and then started running out of the area.

When he was safe enough he summoned the Griffin and had it take him to the island.
