Hatching the Blood egg

The Griffin flapped its wings and covered them with lighting. It then zoomed forward. This was an ability it had learned after eating the Lightning Wings fruit. The ability was Lightning Wings and was a much need ability for the Griffin who was one of Leon's slower beasts.

The Dragon, Blood Harpy and Ifrit Beast could teleport. The Chimera reached insane speeds, like how it had defeated the Titanic Glacial Whale when it entered the berserk mode. The Storm Spirit Butterfly was also fast as it was only useful for speed. With the ability of Lightning Flap it was able to speedily fly around.

With the Lightning Wings ability the Griffin still was the slowest beast but the difference in speed had decreased.

The Griffin finally flew through the Desert and reached the Blood continent. Leon could see the Blood sea city. The Bloodling clan should still be looking for him.

Further away he could see a destroyed mountain. There was still ruble everywhere after the floating island had crashed.

Leon flew past the Blood sea city. After passing it he removed the Formless aura disguise on his body. His hair returned back to the white and his eyes grey. He felt more comfortable now.

Flying a bit longer Leon passed the Teleportation formation for the ice continent. It had now been covered by an incomplete building. He could see Bloodling clan members stand and guard it.

Leon though about going back to the ice continent. He still had the key to the Ephemeral Lightning Great Library. He could go and easily come back. There was still the Dragon's cave he had to return to. That Soul Dragon was a real pain. He hadn't see it for a while But Leon knew it was coming back.

The place Leon was looking for was a cave in the mountains nearby. In one of the caves was a blood pool of a strong beast. The ancestor of the Bloodling clan had sealed for later use. The ancestor had also added a refine formation to slowly refine the Blood over thousands of years. This wasn't something Leon knew from his past life. Rather it was on a paper slotted in one of the atlas books he had stolen from the Bloodling plan's treasury.

It was written in complicated runes which was sure the Bloodling did not understand and the resource had been just sitting there.

Leon reached the mountains and and tried to find that mountain that matched the Bloodling Ancestor's description. He soon found it and entered a cave.

Walking around it he reached a dead end quick. The cave was empty. Leon couldn't sense anything. He summoned the Dragon to have a look. The Dragon took a few seconds and told Leon something was bidding here.

As Leon was thinking of a way to break the formation the Griffin had its eyes flash with a Black star and a formation appeared in front of them.

Leon was astonished. "Is that an ability of the Basilisk eye? may be its a lesser known one."

Leon walked up to the formation and broke it quickly. The formation shattered and a pool of blood appeared. Dense blood energy came out of it.

"This is much better then I thought." Leon said.

Leon took the Refined Blood essence out and dipped a knife in it. He then used the knife to draw an absorption and transfer formation. He overlayed it with another evolution formation and control formation. Finally he drew a balance formation and delay formation.

Leon then dragged the knife from where it ended to the Blood Pool. The Refined Blood essence connected with the Blood Pool and and the small paths he had made with knife filled up. Leon placed the egg at the center of the formation. He then used the knife to cut his wrist and pour his blood onto the formation.

As his hand bled Leon stabbed the knife into the ground and summoned all his beasts to watch over. The beasts appeared and moved away to the cave entrance. The Chimera left and scaled the mountain. It reached the top where it laid down.

The Ifrit sat at the cave entrance on watch. The Storm Spirit Butterfly was near Leon as it was thinking of a way to heal Leon using its life energy.

The Dragon had taken the Phoenix. It also left the cave and took the Phoenix on a ride through the clouds.

The Griffin sat next to the Ifrit Beast on watch out.

After Leon had added his blood he drew a circle in the clockwise direction on the formation with his finger. The formation lit up and activated. The egg was layered up with another shell of energy.

Leon took out the Holy soul evolution fruit and let it absorb it. The balance formation started working and more blood was absorbed from the pool. Leon added the Peaceful mind fruit, Soothing Soul Fruit, Bright Blessing rock and Holy Sun Branch.

The pool of blood had been completely emptied after the forth fruit. Leon then emptied the Soul Blood of a Fairy on the egg. He then drank the rest of the Refined blood essence that was left and started forming Blood God's Art's runes.

He had already reached two thousand three hundred and fifty four on the way here. He aimed for three thousand and one so that it could reach the third level, Massacres's Blood Lake.

It was the level he had reached in his past life. His progress would slow down exponentially when he reached the third level or Leon would have aimed for the fourth level.

With the evolution and Refined Blood essence entering his body Leon broke through to reach Beyond the grandmaster level of affinity. The same level as his Fire, Ice and Mysterious element.

Leon formed Blood runes and let the Blood egg absorb them. He did this for a week straight. Because of his effort and he was able to reach three thousand. He now just needed to form one more rune to enter the third level.

The egg had long since entered energy saturation. It had changed completely from a blood red egg, it has darkened as more enemy was added and was now black and was ready to burst.

The delay formation was working and slowing the hatching. While Leon also controlled the energies of the egg and stopped them from bursting out.

It took around another week for Leon to form the last rune. His pace at dropped just like had expected. Leon let the egg absorb the rune.

The egg absorbed the rune. The black egg flashed and turned white. It then swirled and turned gold. The gold swirled and turned a beautiful ruby. The red diamond egg slowly spun. A wave of gold went through it and formed a halo above it.

The dazzling egg looked divine as it spun above the formation. As the egg spun the golden halo changed and turned a radiant red.

Leon could see the egg was finally ready to hatch.
