It's been 2 days(Real World) since the start of the game.
'Ding Player Rich Dreams has Leveled Up to level 5. 5 attribute points and 2 fixed points will be granted'
Ameer hears this announcement. The average level of the players in game is currently level 8. However,Ameer has been playing with his parents helping them level up instead of working on leveling up alone slowing his speed down. Even then Ameer does not seem to care too much. It is still the early game no matter how hard players try they can not truly create a large gap between the player bases yet.
Even then some countries and sects have already started to claim villages. Lucky just like Ameer past life no one has tried to claim newbie Village No.98.
Just as Ameer was killing a wild wolf he hears a system message.
'Regional Announcement- Guild God Of Terror will be taking over the Wolf Forest. All outside players please leave.'
Although the words may sound nice on surface everyone could feel the hidden kill intent in these words.
Ameer tries to remember if he knew any guild by this name but fails to even remember anything. Ameer still keeps his guard up since whoever was able to use a regional announcement must be a rich person from real life.
"Should we leave" Asks Mr.Armaan whose in game name is Teacher Armaan.
"No I think we will be fine I will just tell them we won't be bothering them." Answers Ameer as he tries to find another wolf to kill.
After 10 minutes they were still fighting as if nothing had happened.
"Hey did you not hear the regional Announcement get out of this forest."As Ameer kills another wolf he hears a loudvoice from behind breaking his train of thought. The man who spoke looks to be wearing a full set of chainmail armor signifying that he is a Warrior.Behind him were also 30 players. Just one look and you could tell that the Warrior was big money bag.
"Hey Big Brother look at his great sword that is at least a silver weapon let's kill him and take it."Says one of the lackeys of the of the mage.
The weapons in 'A New Era' have different tiers such as White>Silver>Gold>Dark Gold>Epic(Purple)>Saint>Divine>Holy>God.
As the Warrior player sets his eyes on the weapon in Ameer's Hands his eyes start to have a greedy green light in them.
"You can leave that weapon behind as well and I will consider letting you and your friends live."As the player finishes his sentence his eyes land on Mrs.Armaan.
Unlike Mr.Armaan and Ameer, Mrs.Rachael had changed her character's look more younger. Coupled with her already young looks she looked to be somone in her early 20s.
"Hey Beautiful lady what are you doing this group of noobs. I am the guild leader of the God of terror. I could join us to fight the boss wolf he he."Hearing these words Rachael is not even the slightest bit moved she has heard these words ever since she was young and has long since stopped caring for them.
Teacher Armaan on the other is filled with regret. He had chosen to be a Work occupation of Engineer instead of a Combat occupation. A work occupation player could fight a Combat occupation player however they were destined to lose. at least this early in the game.
On the other hand Ameer was pissed off. He was having fun with his parents in the Wolf Forest killing wolfs. But a Rich asshole had to get in his way.'Hmph if you get out of this forest alive then what is the point of having 5 years(Real Life) worth of experience.' Thinks Ameer to himself.
Without any warning Ameer uses his skill
Charge- Charges towards any target dealing 75 percent of normal damage. 5percent chance of stunning the target for 1 second. 2 minute cooldown.
Although the skill clearly says that there is only 5 percent chance to stun, if a player knew how to accurately hit the correct acupointes they could guarantee that the skill will always have a stun effect.
In 'A New Era' there are no skill levels. All players will have the same skill only how they use the skill will be different. A player could use the skill 'kick' as a crowd control skill. While another player could use it as a skill breaker kick. This is the biggest advantage that sects have over countries as they various amounts of fighting techniques.
After Ameer Stuns the Warrior with his charge he instantly uses his other skill slash twice both of which were critical hits.
Slash- Slash toward your target using your weapon. Deals 100 percent of damage. 2 second cooldown.
The other players in the guild leaders party don't even know how to react. There guild leader was instantly killed right in front of them and they were unable to do anything.
"Kill him you idiots." Suddenly they hear a voice from their party chat pulling them out of their trance. Obviously the one shouting angrily was the resently dead guild leader.
"Lets attack together he won't be able to deal with all of us."Shouts one of them.
But before they could even group up to attack Ameer. He jumps in the middle of a group of 10 or so players and uses his unique skill Whirlwind.
Whirlwind- Is a unique skill granted to player Rich Dreams for the completion of a hidden quest. Attacks all targets in the range of the weapon. Deals critical damage to all targets and has a 10 percent chance to stun for 1 second. 10 minute cool down.
Ameer had gotten this skill from the blacksmith of the newbie village no. 5608. In his last life a Work occupation player named Super Miner had triggered a hidden quest granting him this unique skill. This is one of only 5 unique skills in game. Ameer was unable to learn this skill from any other village so he decided to go to Newbie Village No.5608 and get this unique skill. As for Super Miner he never truly cared for this skill anyways he only cared to mine rare resources.
The fact that Super Miner got this skill was due the fact that he was engrossed in mining that be forgot how many ores he nees to give to the blacksmith and accidently gave him too much.
Against Ameer's Whirlwind attack all 13 players of the God of Terror guild fell one after the other. The other players were even more shocked, just who did offend. To have a silver grade weapon can be attributed to luck however an AOE skill this early in the game is horrifying.
After the battle only 10 or so players were able to escape.
Now Ameer had a red name tag above his head. A red name tag would lead to increased drop rate. The NPCs were unable to see name tags so they would not change their attitudes towards players.
Only some really powerful NPCs were able to tell if you did kill somone. These powerful NPCs however never cared for the death of players since they knew the players will just come back to life.
After the battle as Ameer looks back at his parents he notices that his mother has her a big frown on her face and asks," Son who taught you how to fight like that."
Although she had been noticing that her son was really adept at fighting against the wolfs she thought it was because it was a game. However after witnessing the fight just now she truly realizes how real the game world truly is.
She was raised by the sect leader of a the Lancaster branch she could easily see through all her son's moves and even find many faults in them. She could not understand how her son knew so well about which acupointes to hit to stun his targets when he never lifted a sword in his life.
Meanwhile on the forums,
Somehow the video of Ameer and the God Of Terror guild got released on the forums.
"Oh My God what was that skill that he used to kill so many players at once he is so overpowered."
"Who is this weak guild called God Of Terror. They dared to have such a arrogant name and lost to a single player."
"Rich Dreams is so overpowered how did he get that skill."
"Anyone to tell me who Rich Dreams is will be given 5000 USD$ as a reward."
