Burning Flame Sect

Al had never experienced this kind of feeling before. It felt like his body was turned into a warm stream of energy which travelled through the void for endless time until a light sucked him out of the void and put him into a warm vessel.

He felt dizzy, his first experience of teleporting was both amazing and scary.

Gasp! Gasp! Gasp!

He took a series of hard gasps to calm his anxious heart.

Actually, In the split second he was teleported, Al had lived millions of years in the void. If Lina had not forcefully controlled his state of mind, Al would have long lost his consciousness in this passage of time.

Lina could guess how Al was feeling right now. She had also gone through the same thing a long time ago, so she could feel his anxiousness. She gently stroked his back praying that he could relax.

She had her first trip to the void about ten years ago. Her father was the one who took her there.

Under Lina's constant soothing and his dark past experiences Al soon calmed down. It only took him a minute to adjust his state of mind.

Seeing him recover so fast, Lina's eyes widened in surprise. One must know that she was an absolute genius when it came to teleportation, yet, even she had to stay in bed for a month when she first went to the void where time was endless.

'Just how strong is his state of mind?' Lina did not even dare to guess it!

.....

"Hmm! Are we outside the village?" Al, now completely calm, looked around and found himself on a barren land.

"Mm!" Lina nodded her head. "We are near the 'Burning Flame Sect'. It is the sect that I am raised in." Lina looked towards the horizon and saw the tall black gates of her sect. She could not help but get emotional as she reminisced her first time seeing those gates.

"Sect? Do you mean to say that they take in students and train them here?"

"Hmm! Something like that!" Lina replied vaguely.

Al thought for a second before he started walking towards the black gates.

"Wha...where are you going?" Lina hurriedly blocked his path.

"I am going to join your sect. I want to see how a sect looks like." Al nonchalantly sidestepped her and continued his journey towards the Gate.

Seeing his behavior Lina sighed profoundly. "I don't think that is a good idea?" She once agin blocked his path, but this time, she looked determined to stop him here.

"Is there a reason?" Al was not dense, he obviously understood her intentions.

"Mmh!" Lina nodded. "You remember the calamity ten years ago right! All the males vanished into thin air due to a strange phenomenon!"

"Hmm! I heard something like that! Does this relate to your sect?" Al was actually given a short description about the background history by his Survival System, so he at least had the basic knowledge about the world.

"Well, you see sects operate with the old generation looking after and nurturing the younger generation! Ten years ago, when half of our humanity's seniors have died, and their young generation lost half of their talents, the 'Humanoid Monster sects' heavily attacked our weakened human sects and took over most of them."

"The few human sects that still held strong are those which only depended on the females from the start. The calamity did not decrease their power and these sects successfully defended their sect from its destruction."

"Now, all human sects that are still holding strong are those which only allowed females disciples from the time when they laid down their foundation."

"You get it now right? My sect is one such sect! We only allow females to join us." Lina avoided eye contact with Al as she spoke. She felt guilty. This guy had saved her, yet, she could not even invite him into her sect.

"Oh!" Al did not mind it as much as Lina. He was just curious, if he was not fated, he wouldn't force it.

He leaned closer to Lina and playfully smacked her butt, before pulling her into his embrace. He lightly kissed her cheek, before licking her lips.

"Go!" He smacked her butt once more and pushed the dumbfounded Lina towards the Gate.

Without another word, he walked away in the other direction.

Lina looked at the back of the Male who had saved her. Her eyes were incomparably clear, but they did not leave the man's back until she could no longer see him.

"Sigh! If fate allows, we shall meet again!"

She helplessly sighed and no longer hesitated, directly flying towards the Burning Flame Sect.

Al noticed a lot of spells, some spells at the end can even let him destroy mountains and build skies, but the amount of Points required to buy those skills was even more ridiculous than their attack power.
