They lurk in the shadow,can not be seen in the light. They are assassins who killed off those who are evil. They are called "The Dark Shadow.

              But no one knows that they are controlled by a sixteen years old girl, Wei Qin Yang. Her only motive is to avenge her parents and get back what truly belongs to her.

It was the largest city after the capital, famous for its hustle and bustle. One could see the stalls everywhere. Some people were walking back and forth. The street vendors were in full swing as they began to shout out their wares.


The other reason of this city being famous was it's location. Which was surrounded by dense forest and dangerous hills which provided it extra protection from external invasion.


However, deep within this forest, there was a wooden cottage. A girl dressed in white satin dress was sitting in a kneeling position before the memorial tablets of her parents. She burnt some incense and gave three kowtowed.


"Imperial Father, Imperial Mother do not worry. I will avenge your death. Everything that they had given you, I will return it back and even add interest. All the people who are responsible for your death, will suffer consequences more painful than death".


A cold and dark glow flashed in her eyes as she spoke in a cold voice.


It was on this dreaded day that Wei Qin Yang's entire family and the people who were loyal to Imperial family were massacred, wiped out with out anything left but ashes. The whole capital bathed in bloodshed. They were murdered by the same people that they trusted to protect them.


The other places which were attacked because of their loyalty to emperor Wei Zi Zhang were Wu and Li palace.


Wu family who was well renowned through the whole capital and remained undisputed in the field of medicine for generations, has a family head Wu Zhong Tai as Imperial doctor.


Li family was the family of prime minister Li Cheng Hong. They have long history of producing geniuses and famed scholars. 


Wu Zhong Tai and Li Cheng Hong were not only loyal subordinates but also childhood friends of emperor Wei Zi Zhang.


That day, It was a complete genocide. And it all happened today, 16 years ago.


Wei Qin Yang's expression was turning hard and the chilling aura emanating from her was intensifying after thinking all about this.


"Jin Mo Han, one day I am going to make you suffer, I promise". 


After many years of dedicated, sincere and torturous hard work, Wei Qin Yang became the leader of "The Dark Shadow". They are called Dark Shadow because they are secret forces of Imperial family who worked in shadows. Only the descendants of Imperial family can command them.


Wei Qin Yang stood up and walked towards the window. A soft wind blew, ruffling her hair and bringing with it a fresh smell of forest.


Footsteps approached from behind and she opened her eyes and saw Yuan chun wang coming towards her. She knew it was time to watch over the training of "The Dark Shadows". She gave a nod, slipping her shoes and headed for the door.
