"Stopped the car!"
Both Zachary and Pindie was startled to hear the sudden thunder coming from behind. Reflexively, Pindie pulled off and parked on the side road. Thankfully, the highway was one with fewer cars.
"Boss, what's wrong?" Zachary quickly asked. He saw Zen's face twitched in annoyance.
"This isn't my phone!" Zen's announced and threw the phone on the seat next to his.
"What!?" Zachary couldn't help but reply in shock. He took the phone that was thrown away to the seat next to his boss. On one look, the phone was similar to his boss personal phone but once he focused on the details, it was indeed slightly different. The phone had some personal touched on it. There was an initial AW at the top edge of the phone.
"Boss, no security password. What kind of person to let their phone without the basic security?" Zachary lamented. He shook his head, feeling worried toward that person. He had finished inspecting the outer appearance and was shocked to see the inside was left unguarded.
Zen frowned the moment he heard the report. He was too equip with his worry of being unable to contact Ava that rationality left him for a while. He didn't even check whether the phone was secured with a lock or not.
"Boss, this person has a lame wallpaper. A camellia flower. Pffttt...and there's a rabbit under it," Zachary burst into a peal of laughter. He gave the phone to his boss the moment he saw his eyes instructing him to it.
Zen scrolled through the folder stored in the phone. He was trying to find the clue related to the phone owner yet all the folders were actually encrypted with a high-security password. He lifted one of his brows, amused by the prospect.
"This phone must belong to the woman who clashed onto me at the airport. Boss, I'm afraid she already boarded a plane, I took a glimpse of her ticket. Her flight is at 3.15 pm. Now is already 3.20pm," Zachary recalled what he saw during the clash.
"Well, let us find out." Zen punched his personal number and waited for his call to be picked up. Looking at the time, passengers were still allowed to make a phone call. Moreover, if the phone owner was boarding a business class, then, the possibility for her to answer his call was high.
"Hello? Whoever is calling, are you by chance the owner of this phone I am now using?" A sly smile rose on Zen's face the moment he heard the woman's voice. As expected, it was the woman that bumped onto Zachary at the airport. The voice was similar.
"Yes, and I'm sure you knew this number belongs to you," he answered politely. Then, he heard her sigh in relief.
"Sir, I'll be back tomorrow. Do you mind to keep my phone secure? I'll do yours too," the woman suggested a deal.
"Well, it seemed that you left your phone unlocked. Do you really believe that I'll keep your phone uncheck?" Zen played around. He swore he heard the woman grunted after he finished talking.
"Sir, once I reach my destination. I'll use my laptop to track my phone. And I'd like to warn you that it has some coding that allows me to access the nearest CCTV. Hence, there's a high possibility for me to see who possessed my phone," the woman warned. Her voice was non-threatening but it was full of confidence. Confident with her abilities to do what she just said.
"Give me my laptop," Zen asked and Zachary immediately took out a slim laptop from his briefcase. Zen also motioned Pindie to drive. Pindie who was dumbfounded by what had happened could only nod vigorously as he received Mr. Zen's instruction.
Zen connected the phone to his laptop using a USB and soon the screen was filled with numbers and letters. He aimed to crack whatever spyware that was coded into the phone.
"Sir, are you listening?" the woman asked several times. Her voice started to contain anger.
"Miss Camellia?" Zen had a satisfying smile on his face.
"You!" the woman screamed. From the sound of it, she was clearly surprised.
"Don't worry, I was just interested in the things you mentioned earlier and thought that it would be fun to decipher it. Your skills are pretty good," Zen chuckled. He was actually really impressed with the spyware and security system installed into the phone. If it was anyone else, they wouldn't be able to decipher the codes might as well crack it up.
"Miss Camellia, don't worry. Tomorrow, I'll return your phone and I'll make a letter of confidentiality that will seal my lips from sharing the information I obtained from your phone. However, you must promise me something," It was Zen's turn to make a deal.
Miss Camellia who was listening to his unfinished term growled in annoyance. She urged him to say his terms.
"Don't spy on my phone and make sure not to answer any phone call from a caller named 'Little Rabbit'. If you do, I'll make sure to expose all your clients' profile," Zen's was clearly threatening the woman. But, it was only because he didn't want Ava to misunderstand. After exchanging text messages with her for 13 years, he could tell that she seemed to change to become the jealousy type.
"Deal! Please call YOUR number tomorrow at 5.45pm," Camellia could only relent. She knew the man who had her phone was someone well-versed in coding. This is because, in that phone of hers, there was only one place where one could find out about her name and the man managed to find it!
"Good. See you tomorrow!" Zen exclaimed.
"Wait, you!" Camellia yelled as she could tell that the man was about to hang up.
"Anything else, I believe your flight is about to take off," Zen smirked.
"What's your name? The least to do when making a deal is to be clear of the other party's name," Camellia's reasoning made Zen's serious face twitched. He was entertained alright! the woman really knew her stuff!
"I'm Charlie," Zen told his other well-known names to her. Then, he hung up.
