Blind Date 2

Tilting his head to the side Sebastian couldn't help but look at Sarah like she had grown another head. "What do you mean by seen?" questioned Sebastian. Thinking how she could answer that without blowing her fan cover she was sweating bullets which did not escape Sebastian's line of sight. " It's nothing to be scared about, I'm just curious but if you feel uncomfortable saying it i won't probed any further."

"Oh no it's not that i don't want to say it's just that I wanted to keep my little secret a little longer or maybe to my grave" laughed Sarah to ease the slight tension that was building at the table. Before anyone could add to that statement the server knocked on the door and entered interrupting the conversation.

'scusami stasera sar`o il tuo cameriere(excuse me I'll be your waiter this evening)'

'In inglese per favore( in English please)' said Sebastian. Sarah couldn't help but look at him with pride in her eyes. She understood what was said as that's basic knowledge inside a restaurant.

"Sure thing sir, as i said i will be your waiter this evening my name is Robert have you decided what would you like?'

Sarah was the first to speak,' yes actually I would like the Shrimp Scampi (sauteed shrimp, lemon butter, garlic, white wine, cherry tomatoes, spaghetti) and I'll have the Risotto alla Contadina (sauteed shrimp, mixed vegetables, risotto, cremini ,mushroom sauce) added Bastian. 'And the choice of beverage?' "I'll have

the Chardonnay said Sarah and I'll have the same added Sebastian." 'Will that be all?' 'Yes that will be it for now thank you' answered Bastian.' The waiter left the room to place the couple's order and them to their earlier conversation.

" As i was saying before we were interrupted it's just something i had hoped to keep a secret" stated Sarah. "And what may that be if you don't mind me asking," asked back Sebastian. "Well being a die hard fan you'll know the extremity of some fans towards there idols and my dear sir the steak for you is higher than the President of this country" Sarah stated making Sebastian's eyes go wide like a saucer. "Am i hearing correctly?.... You are a die hard fan of who exactly?" asked Sebastian probably still not sure what else to ask.

Sarah couldn't help but giggle at the silliness in his question. "Well i love your group's music but you are my favorite.....Surprise??" stated Sarah with a question in her voice at the end. The awkward silence returned again but longer this time which felt a bit suffocating to Sarah. She was getting nervous by the seconds that went by that it felt like forever and just then the waiter returned lightening the mood that Sarah heaved a sigh f relief releasing a huff of breath she didn't know she was holding. When the waiter left it was getting stuffy again.

'Umm can we eat before these get cold?' Sarah ask breaking the silence and pulling Sebastian from his still shocked state. 'Ummm yes sure sorry about that' answered Sebastian. With that being said they started eating in silence. While Sarah ate lost in thought worrying if she made the right choice telling her secret after hiding her crazed fan heart to face her idol as calmly as she has been doing so far. It was not an easy feat to do so far, so she was trying to keep her cool and it was going good until a moment ago. She only hopes he doesn't take things the wrong way as in that she knew who he was and approached him with ill intentions.

At first she really didn't know who he was, she thought he was one of those look alike that keeps popping up on the internet until one interview that involved the question about him being out with someone an early morning that happened to show a picture of them running from fans the morning they happened to have breakfast together. She was shocked but continued to play it cool hopefully to keep her fan heart from exploding and now she was on a blind date with the same guy that is being coveted by many around the world.

The meal ended with complete silence and both party felt like they were gonna suffocate with the room being so stuffy. The waiter came back and took away the used dishes and asked what they wanted for dessert. Sarah ordered the tiramisu and Sebastian got a cappuccino mousse cake. When the desert arrived that was when Sebastian decided to speak and break the ice that was getting two thick to bare.

"So you're telling me that you are a fan?' asked Sebastian still with some disbelief in his voice. Letting out a breath of air Sarah replied " yes I've been for as long as the years serve in my memory but don't get the wrong idea about me. There has been so many look alikes on the internet i thought you were one of them. Like imagine what are my chances of meeting my idol on a morning run, who would believe such an absurd thing. But if this still makes you feel uncomfortable tell me and I'll pretend like none of this ever happened.''

Sarah was ready to get up to ask for the bill to pay and leave when Sebastian still didn't answer her but was held back by someone's strong arms wrapped around her wrist stopping her in her tracks. "No stay please" was all Sebastian got out after the long silence he had been given all this time.

"I'm sorry for the delay in my reply, I was just stunned i wasn't expecting such a thing to happen. It's not everyday you hear of an idol and a fan gets together if you know what i mean" stated Sebastian finally after the delayed reply.

"Oh sure i do understand that, i also understand the threats and the dangers that come with choosing to be with an idol such as yourself. The risk is high especially with the popularity that you guys carry that's alot to hold onto and live up to. But sometimes it's not about being in the spotlight that attracts someone to a person it's liking them genuinely, so much so that even if they were cast out by everyone else you'll still stick with them just as when they were shining bright. In my case however i would rather stay away from the lime light, i like the quiet alot and i want to feel safe doing my job" answered back Sarah.
