Grandchild (part 2)

Tulip heart tremble seeing her parents after 6 years 'it's been so long' she thought. Unknown to her a tear fall down to her cheek. Tulip blink for a second and wipe away her tear. She wanted to hug them, introduce little bun to them. But suddenly their words came back in a flash back.

Past

"Is sleeping with your sister fiance isn't enough that now you are carrying the bastard inside your womb" Tulip dad spat venomously.

"But dad I --" Tulip want to clarify what happened, but her mother interrupted.

"Enough Tulip! we don't want to hear the same excuse! why did you even approach Sol knowing he was drunk?. You could have inform Daisy! Do you think I don't know that you like your sister fiance. But I keep quite because I thought you were sensible. You wouldn't do something like this!!" Her mother said looking disgustingly at her.

"Mom I'm sorry, but you have to believe me--" Tulip said, her voice coming out as in hiccup. "Don't Tulip! I'm no longer your mother" her spat furiously glaring at her.

Her dad came forward, putting his hand on her mother shoulder to calm her down, he move his gaze over Tulip and sign "Tulip please spare us, I don't know what wrong we did to you that we have to see this day. Go away Tulip! we no longer want to see your face. Neither yours nor the bastard you are carrying. Even Sol left you at the altar! Do you know how humiliation we have faced today! Every media is making fun of us! Company stock is decreasing! Just go Tulip. Don't show your face ever!!" her dad shouted

Words get stuck inside her throat, tears didn't stop falling "I leave, please don't get angry. I leave" she shutter

Present

In a blink every word came one of one in a flash back. Tulip still remember each and every word. She couldn't move. She can't bare anyone calling her son bastard even if it's her parents.

Little happily talking with them. Then his gaze fall on her mother "Mumma!!" he come running to his mother. Mr and Mrs Anderson gaze follow where the child is running. Looking at the back of child they sign.

Mrs Anderson look at her husband "This child upbringing is too good. Even in such young he is sensible. After so long I get the feeling of family" she said sadly. Mr Anderson nodded, then they shift their gaze to where he is running. There feet freeze seeing Tulip after 6 years.

Tulip look at her son and narrow her eyes "Leo where have you been! do you know how much scared I got!!!"

Little bun cringe hearing his mother voice. He adorably look at his mother "Mumma I'm sorry. You and dad were talking and my eyes fell on the latest version of video game that I usually play. So I walk towards the shop, I wasn't looking where I going so I accidentally put my foot on aunty" he said pointing his finger to Mrs Anderson.

Sol look at Tulip who was in daze. He supported her back and look at his son "Leo do you know how much your mother got scared not seeing you beside her. You should have told us if you liked something. By the way did you apologies"

Little bun nodded. Mrs Anderson interrupted "It's okay he is just a child" a protective feeling came inside her. She look at Tulip who is looking anywhere but at them. Then her gaze shift to Sol who is protectively holding Tulip.

Mr Anderson look at his daughter. He doesn't know what to say. His gaze fall on his grandchild, he regretted calling him bastard. As a father he always kept a tab on his daughter. His heart swelled with pride watching how much his daughter achieved. But he didn't let out a single word seeing his daughter after 6 years. He has so many things to say but yet he has nothing to say.

Tulip heart is thumping loudly, she protectively wrap her hands around her son. She doesn't want them to address him as a bastard. She avoid meeting her gaze with them, lump from inside her throat. Her eyes is getting blur from tears. It took her lot of courage to voice out her words "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to show my face" she mumble. She turn her body and walk away from them.

Mr and Mrs Anderson heart slit hearing their daughter. "Tulip don't say like this... Tulip!!!" Mrs Anderson said tears formed in her eyes seeing them walking away. She turn her gaze to her husband "David stop her, say something. How longer we gonna keep angry? I don't have a family because of this anger. Be it Daisy or Tulip we no longer have anyone with us because of our anger. I don't want to lose my grandchild. It's our fault too David!!! we never properly pay attention to Tulip. We should have understand her. I want my daughter David! I want my grandchild!" Mrs Anderson cried, her mother heart could no longer stay away from her children. Both of them left her.

Tulip walk as faster as she could holding her son. Tears blurring her eyes, her heart is crying for her parents love.

"Tulip wait!!!" Sol shouted following her. But Tulip keep walking faster "Tulip!!" Sol somehow got hold of her hand, he stop her and firmly wrap his arms around her "You have me Tulip. I will leave you. I'm sorry for what I did in past" Sol said hugging her from behind. He place a kiss on top of her head.

Tears didn't stop, she hiccup "So..Sol I..I no longer trust you". Sol tighten his grip around her " Then I will make you trust me"

Little bun frown seeing his mother crying. Guilt stuck inside him, tear form in his eyes "Mumma I'm sorry, I will never go anywhere without informing. Please don't cry." But her tears didn't stop.
