As soon as he stepped out of Queenie, he quickly sent a message to someone.
"Mission accomplished. I'll start to work tomorrow," Jude's lips curved upward and a dimple could be seen. It was obvious that he was satisfied with the outcome by his nephew.
"Good job" he sent the message to his nephew with a smile still plastered on his handsome face.
Then, the phone rang. He swiftly answered it and put on speakers.
"Uncle, I have one question."
"En... What is it?"
"Uncle, do you really need to be so extravaganza as to send a truck of roses to her? Uncle, I think you're too much in this sense," this time Jude was caught off guard by his nephew sudden attack. Tony who was sat across him chuckled quietly. He darted his eyes to other directions and tried his best to avoid making any eye contact that would made Jude pissed off with him.
Jude took a deep breath and calm himself before he started to refute his nephew, Jeremy. This kid has grown up too fast. He inwardly cursed Jeremy for being so blatant in his speech.
"You don't have to think much about the way I do my things. Focus to your job at hand. And make sure she is safe," he ordered him.
Jeremy put his phone away briefly and looked askance at it before putting back to his ear and sighed.
"Uncle, let me make it clear. Supposedly, my job will be officially starting tomorrow. Not today."He tried to make his way from his uncle.
For all his life he never saw his uncle so adamant about chasing a lady. This was the first time. Well, at least this lady is a beauty with the brain or else, he didn't think he can understand even a tiny bit of the rationality lies in between.
"How about I call your dad to come over?" Jude's voice sounded menacing and it definitely succeeded to send a chill down his spine.
"Uncle, don't. Alright... Alright... I'll watch her," In the end, Jeremy conceded to his uncle's instruction to keep watch over the his lady boss.
"Good, if there's anything suspicious, do call me directly," before Jeremy could ask further, Jude already hung up on him. Jeremy stared blankly at his phone before he let out his frustration by sighing aloud.
"Eh, you're still here?" he almost jumped off due to the shock he had as someone patted on his shoulder from the back. He turned around and met Rose's Hazel brown eyes while calming his poor heart due to the sudden attack.
"Goodness! What's that look on you? Are you okay?" she asked him out of her goodwill as she realised that Jeremy stood still in front of her gallery.
"Oh, I'm good. I was about to decide which place should I go for my dinner later," he fibbed. Oh, god please forgive me for lying this lady, he prayed in his heart... He didn't mean to lie to her, but the situation given called for it. Rose nodded her head as if she was understood his predicament.
" Then, I'll get moving. See you tomorrow at nine a.m." Rose simply turned around after bid goodbye to him. Jeremy sighed in relief when Rose moved further away before he started to trail behind her as per his uncle's instruction earlier.

" Have you waited for long? " Rose quickly approached the table while Steve stood up and gave her a peck on her cheek as soon as she came closer to the table before the two of them exchanged a friendly hugs. Then, Steve pulled a chair for her in a gentle manner.
"Not really. Around five minutes earlier than you," Steve answered as she plopped down on the chair. She put aside her handbag before turned towards Steve who sat across her.
It had been a long time since she last seen Steve Mclare, her paternal cousin. They used to play together, went to school together until Mclare's family moved to Australia and was resided there until now.
"Really? That's great! At least you didn't wait for a long time," Rose chuckled.
"Even if I have waiting for you for longer bit, I won't mind, as long as you make it to our dinner, "Steve muttered, clear enough for Rose to listen. And make it to our promises, he said inwardly while watching her smiling shyly at his earlier remark.
" Anyway, I had pre-ordered your favourite: special claypot mee, " Rose raised her both eyebrows when she heard him.
"You still remember? It's been a long time since we last met,"
"Of course, unless..." Steve paused and looked into her eyes that caused Rose to begin to feel uncomfortable. She clenched her ruffled skirt to ward off the strange feeling that slowly crept into her heart.
"Unless you change your taste over the time," Steve slowly took a sip of his Chinese tea. Rose smiled awkwardly at him. My taste indeed had change, she said to herself.
"Uh well, to be honest, lately I really into Korean dishes especially their kimchii and their beef bulgogi noodles. It tastes so good that you'll want to have another plate of it," to imagine to have the said menu, Rose unknowingly smiled childishly.
Little did she know that Jeremy just sat next to their table and he was practically rolled his eyes when he heard her food preference. Goodness... She also crazy about Korean just like some other girls. How he wished to tell her to stop talking and eat her special claypot mee. Fortunately they were separated by a thin glass between the table. Or else he would do the honour to tell her just eat whatever people served her.
"Ah... So you're into Korean too?"
"Yeah, I even tried to learn their cultures and even the language as well,"
"Hangul?" Steve was surprised by the fact that she even tried to learn the language itself to that extent... Impressive.
"Yes, Hangul," it was then a waiter came and served them their special claypot mee. After thanking the waiter for the food that he served, Rose directly digged into her claypot mee without saying anything.
In the meantime, Jeremy was speechless when he learnt about his lady boss' preferences and even was learning Hangul for the sake of her love towards Korean. It was totally beyond his comprehension when a lady totally immersed themselves with the stuff they love most. God bless you uncle... He prayed for his uncle Jude.
