Are We Going to Elope?

"Come! Let's hit the dance floor!" Rose forcefully dragged Leah to follow her to the dance floor after she gulped down her vodka.

Leah could only follow her to the dance floor though she have no idea how to dance like others. But seeing Rose having a good time while dancing, she had no choice but swallowed her shyness to dance following the beat. And what she had learned that night was, it was not a bad idea at all to dance. At least it could help you to shake off some stress that burden your head and heart. Ah... So refreshing...

At the same time, two men strode leisurely among the sea of people. Eyes sharpened as they couldn't see it clearly in a hazy and a little darkened room.

"Uncle, are you sure my lady boss is here?" Jeremy asked as he watched excitedly at the scene before him. He would never expect his lady boss was someone who hit a night club. Nah... It is definitely an absurd thinking to think my lady boss actually here, in the most popular night club in town.

" Jeremy?" a voice inquired from the back. Both men turned around and saw it was Leah with her reddened face.

"Oh, Mr Jude as well?" she was surprised to see Jude indeed had come to find Rose.

"Leah, where's lady boss?" Leah grinning and simply pointed in one direction.

In the midst of chaotic dance floor, Rose was seen dancing exotically with a man in her high heels.

The two men were dumbfounded by the sight before their eyes. Jude's expression darkened and his lips turned into a thin line, depicting his inner rage upon seeing Rose danced wildly with some random man. While Jeremy gasped in flabbergasted. His eyes opened wide in disbelief. Urghh... Is that lady boss? Wow! Lady boss sure know how to make some moves on the dance floor. Awesome!

"Whoa! Is that lady boss? She sure knows how to make some killer moves on the dance floor! Awesome!!!" Jeremy exclaimed excitedly next to Jude whose expression became even darkened than few seconds ago.

He instinctively glanced at Jude next to him who, at the moment wore a murderous aura around him that sent a chill down his spine.

It was not only Jeremy to feel the chill, even Leah could feel it too. She got the goosebumps at the sight of darkened-face Jude. Goodness! Is he jealous? She quickly looked at Jeremy and mouthed 'Is he jealous?' Jeremy only raised his shoulders in response to her unspeakable question.

Rose who was still having her fun while dancing at first, abruptly stopped move as she spotted the man that she long to see. She blinked her eyes numerous times and after she was sure her eyes didn't trick her, she waved her hands eagerly at the darkened-faced Jude. She was about to leave the dance floor when her partner grabbed her arm and yanked her to his chest that caused Rose to bump her nose straight to the solid chest. Damn! She cursed loudly.

She pushed him harshly and glared at him with murderous intent in her eyes. But it seemed that the man was oblivious to her crystal clear rejection or maybe he was pretending, who knows. And it didn't matter after all. He believed that he could make her to fall for him. Such an exquisite lady. It was hardly come by if there's no luck.

"What's wrong babe? We should spend our time together," The man came closer to her ear that made Rose flinched. "Maybe we could go somewhere."He added seductively.

As he was about to kiss her earlobes, a figure slipped between them and he had, in the end, kissed his shoulder. When he opened his eyes, he saw his partner was taken away by some man. He quickly chased after them amidst the youngsters that having good times with friends.

"Oh...This is exciting! Are we going to elope somewhere?" Rose inquired with her bright and shiny eyes. She didn't seem upset being dragged away by Jude, instead, she felt a sudden surge to jump onto him and kiss him right there and then.

Oh well... She really meant it. While Jude felt extremely mad when he flashback the scene on the dance floor a while ago, Rose had suddenly jumped on him and kissed him hard. Jude was astounded by the sudden assault from her that he turned stiff all of sudden. His eye widen and his breath shortened tenth-fold!

Jeremy and Leah who had followed suit were dumbstruck by the sight. Both of them had been force fed by the sudden attack of public affection display! Goodness! The two of them also had their mouths wide opened and the situation was awkward that in the end they exchanged glances and kept their head down with thousand wild thoughts running through their head.

"Why didn't you kiss me back? Don't you love me?" the way she asked him as if she was accusing Jude for being insensitive towards her feeling. Rose distanced herself few steps away from Jude and casually sitting cross-legged on the pathway. Jude as the defendant, pinched his forehead in frustration. For all his thirty-five years of age, he never felt so frustrated until he met Rose.

In the meantime, Leah and Jeremy both astounded yet again, for the umpteenth times that night when they heard her pitiful words. Jeremy looked at his uncle in hesitance. He would like to give few suggestions to his uncle about the current situation but he really didn't know how he could approach him in a gentlest way possible or else he will be burnt. Leah, on the other hand rather to keep quiet. She began to feel dizzy after all. She quickly sat beside Rose and flung her arm on her shoulders.

"Rose... I think I'm drunk." She muttered in her drunkard stupor.

"Leah..."

"Mmm..."

"I think I'm in love!!!!" Her voice definitely loud and clear that the two men were stunned. Rose casually lied down on the pathway and watched the stars in the dark sky and smiled like a fool.

"Go ahead, tell him you love him. Or else you'll lose him for good." Leah encouraged her.

"I don't want to. I don't want to be hurt." there was a melancholy tone.

"Why?"

"People said he was as stiff as a wood. Do you know that? A piece of wood. Stiff, no emotion at all." Jude who heard this became stiff, just as she described him to be. Jeremy couldn't help but chuckled.

But the one who judged him as a piece of wood was oblivious to the changes in the current atmosphere. She kept on babbling about the man and how he talked to her. Then she kept quiet before she started to wail.

"I jumped on him and kissed him, but he didn't response. Tell me, did he love me? Or is it because I'm not pretty enough compared to those brainless flings of his? I know that most of them have big boobs and big ass, which I don't have. But at least I could provide for him if one day he lose his business."

Jude who heard all the words came out from her mouth was speechless. Big boobs and big ass? Rose dear, you are too imaginative. I don't need those, if I do, shouldn't I go and find one for me now? You and your nonsense. Jude was overwhelmed with helplessness by the time he heard her.
