The four kingdoms had been torn apart for many years. War had ruined everything. Everyone has lost someone. Poverty and children dying from hunger, that was what the war had brought. - How do we end this war? And who am I?

A New World - A New Beginning

In a swift move Xander turned around and looked at me, and right away he knew what was wrong.


- "shit they've put poison on the blade of the arrow"


When I heard the word poison my heart started pumping hard I was afraid, was I going to die? I slowly tried to reach for my cheek, but Xander was fast and basically slapped my hand away.


- "Izabel do not touch your cheek it will only make it worse"


Xander came closer to me lifting up my chin inspecting the wound on my cheek, all I could see were pitch black eyes looking very concentrated at my face, his eyes were pools of darkness, eyes you would normally fear but not his they felt warm.


- "We have to burn your cheek Izabel that's the only way to evaporate the poison"


Hearing that it made no sense, how was the poison going to evaporate and no longer do damage?


- " Are you sure that's the right thing to do?"


Xander then looked at me as if it was the first time someone had questioned his judgement.


- " I am. Studying medicine teaches you a thing or two about certain poisons and the one you got there will evaporate trust me - it's going to work"
