A Chance!

"Tsk, my traps are all destroyed!" Yin Zu sneered as he chew, in his right hand, roasted Fiery Hen meat.

Yin Zu tried to check the traps if there's a clue about its destruction one by one. Then, a flash of inspiration flashed in his eyes! He found a trail of footsteps made, possibly, by the guilty.

" Hehe, A rank 1 Spirit Beast. Based on destruction of cages one by one. Hmmm, an Earth Type Spirit?" Yin Zu pondered.

Early in morning, many Beast roaming around. The appearance of Rank 1 Spirit Beast is more rarer!

" Hehe, Rank 1 Spirit Beast. Your meat is mine!" Yin Zu immediately followed fast because the sun is almost up!

Step by step, Yin Zu only followed the trail not minding the environment, He is on full focus! Because of his past life, Harbinger of Death, and the inheritance of Death Bringer of Spirits was only pure information, knowledge and experiences are gained! Regarding hunting preys, one must be uninterruptible is only one of them!

"What is this stench?" Yin Zu frowned as he saw the end of trail beside a cavern.

Then he reached a rocky cavern which the trail ended, he found a dead Rank 3 Spirit Beast! This beast has rocky shell armour that covers almost his entire body, has tails that equivalent to strength of 5 bulls and has a claw whose sharpness can compare to blade mady by humans! This is the Spirit Beast Rock Lizard.

The Rock Lizard was wounded all over the body, its shell is broken into several parts and no blood can be seen on its body.

Yin Zu throwed 7 fist sized rocks to Rock Lizard to confirm its death. After throwing, he scanned its whole body and found some familiar wounds.

" This is the wound that my trap caused. In other words, something caused its blood to dissipate and the wounds before my trap cause." Yin Zu frowned as he dismember the body parts of Rock Lizard.

While dismembering he sense a Rank 2 Spirit Aura. Immediately he plowed both of his hards leading to the Rank 2 Spirit Aura and seen a Spirit that has a fatal wound.

" This wound is critical! Gotta do something..." Yin Zu gritted his teeth as a thousand thoughts crashed in his head!

" Ah!" Yin Zu smiled as he gaze to the dying Spirit and corpse of Rock Lizard.

Yin Zu brings out the remaining piece of Fiery Hen and the Rank 1 Flame Movement Spirit in his bag.

Then, Yin Zu made a fire using the corpse of Fiery Hen.

This made easy because of its natural composition related to flame boosting the emitted flames!

" Death Alchemy! This is the Alchemy and Refining of Death Bringer!" Yin Zu smiled as he place the Flame Movement Spirit and Rank 2 Dying Spirit in the body of Rock Lizard.

" The Alchemy of Death! Where living being dies a new life borned from ashes!" Yin Zu's sweat was imminent.

Yin Zu throw the corpse of Rock Lizard to flaming Fiery Hen Body and was holding his bag trying to mix the body of Fiery Hen and Rock Lizard. Then, the 2 bodies merged creating ashes. In ashes, there is a glowing light, and an eerie dark light emitting rank 2 aura!

" This..." Yin Zu holds the Rank 2 Spirit scanning it.

" Success! It's the Rank 2 Dark Fire Armor Spirit!" Yin Zu smiled as he obtain his success.

The Dark Fire Armour Spirit is a Thorn Defense Spirit that makes the enemy burn with dark fire. It's one of the Death Path: Dark! It's recipe is 2 corpse with armor and emitting flames and it can be empowered by adding Spirits!

"This time I add 1 Rank 1 and 1 Rank 2 spirit, so it can rival Rank 3 Spirit! What a pity I am only a Rank 1 Spirit Vessel. If I use, I'll face a backlash." Yin Zu sighed as he stare to Rank 2 Dark Fire Armor Spirit.

The sun is out! Yin Zu heard a cry. The cry seemed to be weak and almost no impact.

Yin Zu puts his Rank 2 Dark Fire Armor Spirit in his back creating a dark red lizard totem.

" A dying beast? Who is hunting it?" Yin Zu was curious so he left the cavern following the cry.

" Huff, this beast has an energy to fight back?" Xiao Yun was creating a distance between her and beast while using a Rank 2 healing spirit. Green Leaf.

"Xiao'Er don't abuse your Spiritual Essence in using Rank 2 Spirit! Conserve as much as possible!" Feng Bai was standing at the top of a tree overseeing the hunt of Xiao Yun.

" Yes Uncle!" Xiao Yun stopped using Green Leaf Spirit and activated a sequence spirit!

The Boar Beast let out a cry that seemed to be forced despite its weakened body and charged to Xiao Yun!

The Bear Beast can't run or hide because of Feng Bai, he placed restrictions. So, the Boar Beast was trying to take down Xiao Yun.

" Futile!" Xiao Yun let out a cry.

Many Rank 1 Spirit was activated and was charging towards Boar Beast.

The Boar Beast withstand the charge of Rank 1 Spirits. Because, the Boar Beast is a Rank 2 Spirit Beast! Ivory Tusk.

Xiao Yun Gritted her teeth, she can't move! And The Iron Tusk is regaining momentum to charge at Xiao Yun!

Then...

" Prey!" Yin Zun activated his Rank 2 Dark Fire Armor Spirit and tackled the Ivory Tusk.

The Ivory Tusk was burned by dark fire taking it's consciousness.

' The effect of Dark Fire Armor is to suck the mental energy of enemy by means of burning by dark fire.' Yin Zu thought deactivating the Rank 2 Dark Flame Armor Spirit.

" Heave, ho." Yin Zu carried the corpse of Ivory Tusk.

" Hey! What are you doing!" Xiao Yun's expression was angry.

" Hmp, is that how you show your gratitude to your savior?" Yin Zu sneered as he walk away far.

" You! Arghhh... He really left!" Xiao Yun was baffled.

Feng Bai jumped off the tree landing beside Xiao Yun.

" Don't mind him, he already left." Feng Bai patted Xiao Yun.

" But, Uncle he stole my prey!" Xiao Yun demanded.

" Haha, If not for him. You have already 1 or 2 holes in your body." Feng Bai laugh.

" But, Uncle..."

" No, buts. Then, let's hunt another one! There are always opportunity!" Feng Bai was positive.

" Un, Uncle!" Xiao Yun smiled.

' Yin Zu, D grade talent...' Feng Bai thought.

This time, Yin Zu was going back to village carrying a corpse of Ivory Tusk trying to sell the body. The Spirit in possessed by Ivory tusk was only 1, Rank 1 Crashing Spirit, was taken by Yin Zu.

" Yin Zu, your harvest today is pretty interesting!" Do Fang the store manager smiled.

" Price?" Yin Zu placed down the Ivory Tusk.

" Wow, the body was intact, Great! It has graze though. 10 Essence Stones!" Do Fang smiled.

" 13, the body is intact." Yin Zu bargained

" 12!" Do Fang smiled.

" Deal!" Yin Zu smiled.

" Here you go!" Do Fang gave 12 Essence stones to Yin Zu.

The currency is 1 essence stone can provide a man of 10 sack of rice!

Meat of Spirit is one of the rare served food because only Spirit Vessels has the high chance to hunt them. When the Spirit beast is hunted it may be the body is crushed into pieces so the price doubled when the whole body is intact. So sometimes the price can be higher due to scarce stock.

" Now time to go at academy." Yin Zu was carrying a bag of Essence Stones back at his house.

Yin Zu was walking and he saw Jin Yang at front of his house.

" Yin Zu..." Jin Yang's expression is gloomy.

" Tsk, I no business with a pathetic soul!" Yin Zu gritted his teeth.

" Haha, you're now the Death Bringer! I, Soul of past. Will remind you. The Meat Eater possessor is alive!" Jin Yang said with eerie tone banishing in the middle of the road.

" Meat Eater..." Yin Zu mumbled as he open his small house.
