Time travelling from the majestic era after the Recuperation of Reiki, he became Kimura Kazuki, a 16-year-old high school student in Japan, one year before the Reiki Recuperation.

Tentatively, he set out to hone himself to the bone, burning candles at both ends to stockpile resources in preparation for the imminent Recuperation of Reiki. His goal was to be many steps ahead of all humanity when the time comes.

However, it seemed like fate had decided to play a cruel trick on him.

One year later, the Recuperation of Reiki... did not happen as expected.

Furuhashi Harunaka's dream shattered as she woke up.

Furuhashi Sakurakyu let out a sigh as she sat in front of the computer.

Her plan was simple. All she had to do was let Furuhashi Harunaka fall in love with Kimura Kazuki. By doing so, the love between them should become her self-sustaining motivation to study hard.

Her daughter lacked motivation, according to Kimura Kazuki. Hence, Furuhashi Sakurakyu thought to herself, could she create a source of motivation for her daughter?

The initial plan was to seek help from Kimura Kazuki.

Furuhashi Harunaka had planned to learn Kendo from Kimura Kazuki, right? That could work, but her studies would have to improve if she wants to learn Kendo.
