Time travelling from the majestic era after the Recuperation of Reiki, he became Kimura Kazuki, a 16-year-old high school student in Japan, one year before the Reiki Recuperation.

Tentatively, he set out to hone himself to the bone, burning candles at both ends to stockpile resources in preparation for the imminent Recuperation of Reiki. His goal was to be many steps ahead of all humanity when the time comes.

However, it seemed like fate had decided to play a cruel trick on him.

One year later, the Recuperation of Reiki... did not happen as expected.

At ten o'clock at night, strong winds blew in the dark night of Undai District.

Kimura Kazuki casually took a stroll to the street, which Ikioi Ito brought him to two days ago. At one glance, Mitsue Natsume was there setting up a food stall as expected. The number of people in line was a lot more than before.

Mitsue Natsume and Kumoko both noticed him as he walked near.

Mitsue Natsume looked slightly stunned when he saw Kimura Kazuki, all he could do was smile and nod as a sign of respect to him. He thought that Kimura Kazuki was going to ask for his help again as before. Right when he wanted to ask for his order, Kimura Kazuki simply found a seat and sat down.

Mitsue Natsume then patted Kumoko's head.

Kumoko nodded obediently, she then came to Kimura Kazuki's side timidly and asked him with a clear and guileless voice, "Big brother, would you like to have something to eat?"
