Time travelling from the majestic era after the Recuperation of Reiki, he became Kimura Kazuki, a 16-year-old high school student in Japan, one year before the Reiki Recuperation.

Tentatively, he set out to hone himself to the bone, burning candles at both ends to stockpile resources in preparation for the imminent Recuperation of Reiki. His goal was to be many steps ahead of all humanity when the time comes.

"Dad, what are we doing out here?" Kumoko yawned. Heavy-eyed, she said to her father, "I don't want to go shopping today, I want to sleep."

Mitsue Natsume felt contented, looking at his daughter's sluggish look. He caressed her head and said to her warmly, "Kumoko, we are moving. There are not many customers here, so let's find somewhere lively, where Kumoko will be able to make some friends too."

"Really?" Kumoko's sleepiness faded in a flash, feeling somewhat astounded.

"Of course!" Mitsue Natsume hugged Kumoko as he answered her, hinting at Kumoko that she could continue sleeping, but his walking speed was rather fast.

Sleep was not essential for specters, but Kumoko was almost like normal humans. She needed to sleep every day. If not, she would feel sluggish and tired.
