Time travelling from the majestic era after the Recuperation of Reiki, he became Kimura Kazuki, a 16-year-old high school student in Japan, one year before the Reiki Recuperation.

Tentatively, he set out to hone himself to the bone, burning candles at both ends to stockpile resources in preparation for the imminent Recuperation of Reiki. His goal was to be many steps ahead of all humanity when the time comes.

However, it seemed like fate had decided to play a cruel trick on him.

One year later, the Recuperation of Reiki... did not happen as expected.

Yayoi Momoi looked at Kimura Kazuki gratefully. She felt decadent just now as she knew that she would not be able to defeat Kimura Kazuki. After all, he was Harunaka's teacher. Since she could not even defeat Harunaka, then it was more so impossible for her defeat Kimura Kazuki.

However, Kendo was like a boat moving upstream, one would fall behind if one did not move forward. Her mindset was too negative and that affected her sword power. Without the reminder from Kimura Kazuki, perhaps by the time she realized, her sword power might not completely fade away, but her ability would decline for sure.

This is what cultivation is, one would be pushed back if one did not move forward.

She really appreciated that Kimura Kazuki reminded her, but she was also clever enough to know Kimura Kazuki's intention.
