Dusthell Steel Sword Whip

As Fangsu and her grandpa went to register Chen Ming as an adopted son at the Bureau of Citizenship Office. The final paperwork for Chen Ming's registration was completed as they all returned back to Blossoming Fragrance to introduce him as one of the Chen Family. Fangsu started at the massive pile of paperwork presenting itself on her desk, preparing herself for the long workday, "Bao Ming, can find a school that will be good for Xiao Ming?" Organising the paperwork in order of importance from daily accounting to official statements that were in need of signature and claims.

As the loud chattering from customers as they entered the store was white noise for Fangsu as she continued to work on the piles of paperwork. A request for restocking was added to the pile as Fangsu needed to get the material from the suppliers. Employees were coming in and out of the room as Fangsu sent them for errands, "Little Boss, I did some research and found that Yang-Long Academy is a pretty good school," Handing over a booklet of the information of Yang-Ling Academy but also some other background information that was needed to inform. Fangsu gesture Xiao Ming to come over as she made sure that he would be happy with the school that was chosen. Fortunately, Xiao Ming was extremely excited to be allowed to attend school let alone receive an education. His dream had now become a reality.

Fangsu's grandpa took Xiao Ming to enrol as a student. Fangsu continued to maintain the workflow to finish the work. Da Fu entered the room with a box, "Little Boss, it's break time!" Setting out an array of a delicious meal in front of Fangsu to distract her long enough for Da Fu to clear the table of all the paperwork. Fangsu doesn't notice Da Fu moving all her paperwork to the side and began eating the delicious food while gulping down some tea.

As Fangsu was busily eating all the food, Bao Ming entered the room with Jingyi who was holding a massive box. "Fangsu! I got you a present!" Exclaiming as she placed the box on the table, unravelling the wrapping to reveal a Dusthell Steel Sword Whip. It was absolutely stunning, a silvery sheen which showed the sublime purity that reached at least ninety per cent which was extremely difficult to achieve. Dusthell Steel has been known to be of scarce supply, however, it has known to be the most durable and powerful metal for combative weapons. It would need no maintenance, can slowly repair itself and resistant to rusting, and it is also extremely light and flexible. To be able to make a blade of a sword whip which is known to be so thin with Dusthell Steel would be extremely difficult to create. The lightness, flexibility and durability of Dusthell Steel would be the best material for the sword whip as a heavy metal such as Solar Metal would be unsuitable and make wielding the sword whip be very difficult and energy taxing for the user.

Fangsu was shocked that Jingyi was presented a Dusthell Steel made weapon for her knowing that it's such a scarce and valuable resource, "Jingyi, you know that Dusthell Steel is scarce metal?" Fangsu wanted to reaffirm. Da Fu was equally shocked to be able to see a weapon made fully of Dusthell Steel as weapon makers usually make an alloy using a high ratio of strong metal such as Everchanging Adamantine with a low ratio of Dusthell Steel.

Jingyi nodded as she scratched her head, "Well you have treated me so well and given me so much," She was completely flustered with Fangsu's questioning reaction, "I wanted to reciprocate your hospitality," Jingyi timidly held the present as Fangsu's muted response overwhelmed her enthusiasm, disheartening her.

Fangsu released a breath, "It's just that this present is worth much more than my hospitality," The present was quite tempting for Fangsu, "It's too much," But it was too much as a present that it was difficult to easily accept.

Jingyi pushed the present to Fangsu, "No, you have been unconditionally kind to me," Staring straight at Fangsu with bright eyes, "That is enough for me," Her lips widen to a smile which caused Fangsu to helpless accept the present. Jingyi told Fangsu that it could be wrapped around the waist for easy wielding. It was also collapsible to become a normal sword, however, it was much too long for Fangsu to use effectively. Fangsu was surprised by the lightness of the weapon despite its long length. At the rate of accumulation of weapons Fangsu was collecting at, it would seem she would start having a personal armoury. Empress Dowager's dagger, Wu Song Beast Warding Bells and now Jingyi's Sword Whip. These weapons would be worth astronomical amounts of money.

Fangsu asked an employee to get a skincare package suited for Jingyi's skin type and package it nicely. The doors opened to reveal Fangsu's grandpa holding Xiao Ming whose face was beaming, "Big Sister! There was an arena where all the seniors were fighting! They were like whoosh with their blades and bang with their hammers at each other," Gesturing with his little arms to demonstrate the movement of the seniors, "There was a library so big that there were so many books," Xiao Ming was clearly amazed by Yang-Long Academy's massive curriculum and facilities. Jumping around the room and eventually hugging Fangsu, grateful for allowing him to attend a prestigious academy.

Fangsu ruffled his hair, "You better work hard!" Laughing at Xiao Ming's enthusiasm, "Xiao Ming, this is my friend Jingyi," Xiao Ming politely greeted Jingyi before hiding behind Fangsu, clinging onto her dress. Jingyi was curious about Xiao Ming's existence as he was never in the files for the Chen Family. Jingyi gently smiled, waving at Xiao Ming but he was slightly cautious about her. Eventually, she left returning back to her residence for etiquette lessons.

Xiao Ming pulled on Fangsu's dress, catching her attention, "Big Sister, that girl is scary." Slightly trembling at the thought of Jingyi. This made Fangsu wary about Xiao Ming's cautious disposition towards Jingyi, rubbing his arms in a comforting manner. Fangsu asked for the reasoning for it, "So many malicious spiritual attachments on her," This statement definitely caught Fangsu's attention.

Fangsu gently took Xiao Ming's hand into hers and stared straight into his eyes, "What do you mean malicious spiritual attachments?" This wasn't a normal situation anymore if Jingyi had malicious spiritual attachment connected to her personnel.

Xiao Ming shivered at the sight of a multitude of black spirits surrounding the girl, Jingyi. "Big Sister, I'm scared." Silently whimpering as fear enraptured his entire being. Clinging onto Fangsu's form, a sense of comfort was formed. Fangsu held him gently patting him as a way to comfort him, this wasn't normal in terms of having malicious spirits attaching themselves to an individual. Jingyi looked like a normal girl yet spirits held resentment against her. Fangsu was starting to become wary of interacting with Jingyi as it could affect Xiao Ming negatively.

Dai-Tai and Ming Yue entered the room, hovering over Fangsu, "That girl, Jingyi, is dangerous, " Dai-Tai materialised herself and leaned on the door frame, "She is involved in a group to aid one of the princes in the power struggle for the throne," This was obviously an alarming sign of danger for her family. Being involved with a person who was aiding one of the princes in the power struggle for the throne would only put a target on her back, especially since Fangsu still didn't know the culprit of her family's death. Fangsu made Xiao Ming practice some basic cultivating techniques and training regime to strengthen his body.

Lately, Ming Yue's accumulation of spiritual energy has risen and shown some considerable progress in combative powers in Magic. Dai-Tai has been slowly training Ming Yue and the social etiquette of the spiritual society, knowing that Ming Yue had isolated herself from the spirit world society. Fangsu was curious about the spirit world society, however, Dai-Tai and Ming Yue both forbade Fangsu from entering the spirit society because she would be targeted.

Fangsu began to feel extremely tired, a sudden stickiness began forming all over her body. She wiped her forehead to find sweat droplets were left behind on her hand, "I can't believe it happening now," The temperature on her forehead, it was burning hot. It was the seasonal weakness whenever there was a change in the seasons it would cause Fangsu body to weaken greatly and bring her extreme fatigue and weakness and it didn't help that she was working herself so hard to fulfil the duties of an owner of an establishment that has a need to keep up with the constant demand of merchandise.

Fangsu's frail body could barely keep up anymore, surviving for 17 years was already a miracle in itself. "Ming Yue go get Grandpa or Xiao Ming to get Yun Nan," Fangsu form slowly began crumbling down to the floor as her body worsened.

—————

Yun Nan rushed over to Fangsu's fallen body and everyone began crowding around her, worried for her wellbeing. Yun Nan checked her pulse only to find it weak and her temperature was so hot to the touch that it almost hurt her, "Get some cold towels!" Ordering the people around her to reduce Fangsu's already burning temperature which Da Fu obeyed, rushing off, "Take her to the bed!" Fangsu's grandpa carried Fangsu to the extended bedroom. As soon a Da Fu entered the room with a bucket with soaked towels, Yun Nan started stripping Fangsu from her garment and wiped down her sweat in an attempt to reduce her temperature. Every hour Yun Nan has to wipe down Fangsu to cool her body. The reason why Yun Nan has never given Fangsu pills in order to allow the healing process to become more bearable was that Fangsu's body couldn't process the Qi within the pills in the typical way normal people would.

Opening a packet of medicine, Yun Nan fed the unconscious Fangsu the medicine to help with the relapse. Thankfully this relapse was one of the weaker versions and the result wasn't what Yun Nan had previously predicted but it would only be a matter of time being Fangsu's relapses would result in her death. Xiao Ming entered the room to lean his head on the bed, "Nan-Jie, what happened with Big Sister?" Nuzzling his head in the palm of the unconscious Fangsu's hand.

Yun Nan frowned as she contemplated whether to tell him the truth but decided it was best that he knew the more people that knew the better, "Your Big Sister has a frail body and can't cultivate at all since she can't absorb Qi properly," Ruffling the young child's hair much to Xiao Ming dismay as he took Yun Nan's hand off his head, "So occasionally the Qi that does get absorb will cause a backlash causing her lots of pain and weakness." Yun Nan was quite sympathetic for Fangsu's situation as she had to deal with this type of pain all her life and not once had she complained about it, living to the fullest.

Xiao Ming was surprised by this and clenched his little fist, "So? Big sister has been hurting a lot?" His lip quivered as tears began falling from his eyes, wetting the blankets. Yun Nan nodded as she smoothed out his hair to help calm him down, "That's not fair! Big Sister has always been so nice and kind to me and the spirits!" But, that only caused him to cry even more.

Yun Nan bitterly smiled at that statement only to find it was true, "Life sure is unfair to the nicest people and the worst kind of trash live the best lives," But, moping around wasn't Yun Nan's style only brutal honesty, "But, life will always be unfair, karma will always find its way to give punishment to those deserving," Yun Nan changed the towel that laid gently on her forehead.

Xiao Ming felt that this karma thing would be the fair judge, "But, will Big Sister get better?" He held Fangsu's hand tightly hoping for a miracle to heal his big sister that gave him a second chance at life.

Yun Nan pauses as she wrung the cloth from the excessive cloth, "I don't know," Placing the cold towel on Fangsu's forehead, "We will only have to leave it to fate," The complexion of Fangsu turned back to a healthy-looking colour.

Extremely tough metal with the ability to break swords, durable and the best material that is used in weapon making.

(Suitable with people that have compatibility with Ice and Water)

3] Everchanging Adamantine; A unique and flexible metal that the formation of the metal is unknown however it is quite in an abundance. However, it's compatible with many metals so it's usually used to make alloys with other metals that are in high scarcity. Extremely versatile metal as it is flexibility, however, it's the most brittle out of the five. Usually must be mixed with other metals to compensate for its brittleness.

(Suitable with people that have compatibility with Water and Thunder)

4] Solar Metal; Naturally forms at the tops of the highest mountains where it is exposed to the most sunlight from dawn to dusk. Extremely heavy, tough and durability that are suitable for heavyweight weapons such as hammers or axes. However, it's very inflexible and is difficult to make weapons that require extreme detail. The more suitable type of metal for most people with money can afford these metals for their weapons.

5] Mist Orichalcum; Naturally forms in the misty ravines that have constant humidity throughout the years. It is an abundant metal, however, the demand for it isn't high as the difficulty of acquiring it is high as there are a variety of high levelled species of demonic beasts that inhabit the area the metal is formed in. Extremely strong, flexible and durable for weapon making, however, most blacksmiths don't have much experience with this metal since it's not high in demand.

(Suitable with people that have compatibility with Metal and Wood)
