Chapter 3- He Who Sings

I had awoken extremely late in the night to find a screen in front of me just as other system user's first awoke to. My system however was a music system. While the system didn't directly help me grow stronger it would allow me to buy songs with specific themes if I had the system points to do so.

The idea was beautiful, but that wasn't all it could do. If I got a mixture of real life cash, and then points from the system I could also purchase instruments and musical battle techniques. Other than this my system included musical architecture, blueprints and musical technological blueprints. The first covered special amphitheaters and stuff like that. The second of the two covered musical pattern locked doors, special frequency measurers, training devices and other things.

Overall my system was quite amazing in the way it was built and its inclusivity and use in my world. Thinking over which items I would want to get and the things I was gonna leave for now. I finally had a few things planned out. Like me grabbing a piano and guitar to play on. That's when the early morning finally arrived.

*Knock, knock*

"Young master I'm entering now."

"Go ahead Sebastian."

Walking into the room with a schedule, the butler quickly told me all my plans for the day. Which included going back to school, meeting my personal soldiers and body guards, and finally training my new chords in the use of their power.

Following him out of the room we made it to the table for breakfast. While it was nice and everything, I kinda missed some of the different kinds of food from earth already. They had more spices and salt to them. Still I supposed the meal I was having now was probably healthier for me, and would help in the development of my voice somehow. People always find amazing ways to help with certain tasks after all.

Leaving my brother after a quick half hug, I made my way over to school. The place I would face 20 stereotypes and cliches daily. When I arrived at the place I recognized somewhat, I found myself commenting on the oldness of the building, and how unschool-like it was compared to any place on earth. The classrooms weren't classrooms, but miniature concert halls. Some classes included being outside in a random segment of nature daily as well. The main amphitheater was even weirder with it having thousands of different dragons sculptures placed around.

Wondering why this place was the way it was, I looked over at Sebastian hoping for an answer. Unfortunately, no matter how good of a butler he was, he wasn't a mind reader. "So Sebastian, could you explain the meaning of the dragons to me again." I was trying to hide how little the me of this world payed attention to the things around him. Honestly with how little he tried listening to things around him. It was no wonder he had previously failed to grasp the meaning of so many songs he tried listening to. He would probably have been really good at some of these new cursing rap songs though. The ones that only cussed for half the song and declared every woman "wanted" them.

Now It's not like I didn't like rap or anything. I loved some of the older stuff with cool thought out insults or some of the battles I would see play out. But when your entire song became just hurting people or just plain vulgar and offensive. I found the song to lack taste. A soul of sorts in it that wasn't something plainly depressive.

Even on earth it was mentioned with songs messing with the mind after all. I didn't want to deal with that messing with my mind, and even if it didn't. Since it likely couldn't connect with most people deep enough to do that. Once more, I just didn't like that new style at the end of the day.

To get back to the situation before me though, the butler went on to explain that it was merely a status symbol of the school and that it wasn't anything over the top special. It seems these Chinese stereotypes convinced me there was some secret "dragon" song that would power me up to properly deal with this school year.

Making my way into the school and sitting down I found myself face to face once more with my greatest enemy. Public education.
