She didn't dare to utter a sound and just stood there paralyzed, the sights of azure flames in his eyes was very intimidating for her.

He slowly stood up and whispered something in her ear and left a gold coin on the table as he walked out of the Inn.

Later that night when the young man was returning home he was knocked unconscious and dragged away.

In a storehouse at the edge of the city, the young man woke up and realized he was tied to the chair he was sitting on. In front of him stood several bandits with wicked smiles on their faces. "I heard a rumor that you were pretty rich and didn't have a background. Give us all your money and we might spare your life."

He closed his eyes awaiting the pain but it never came, He opened his eyes to see what had happened.

His eyes widened as he saw the same gold coin he had given the scammer in the morning blocking the path of the blade with magical power. The coin had been thrown by Ye Wei and she seemed to have anticipated this happening. The soldiers immediately restrained the bandit.

Before Hu Yun could gather his bearing he felt soft lips touching his own, his eyes widening again he looked at Ye Wei with shock, His stare turned tender and he returned her kiss and they embraced each other. The soldiers around cheered for them.

As all of this was happening Xuan li looked from afar, his eyes were tired. He remembered what bullshit he had whispered back then to the girl.
