"To me, it looks like the man likes you" Tang Xiu Ying said

Yang Jia looked at her in confusion and asked "How can you tell? You haven't even met him before"

Tang Xiu Ying's eyes widened and her mouth turned into an O shape before she smiled and squealed "So he DOES like you!"

"Huh?!" Yang Jia looked at her with an even more confused expression.

"You just admitted it" Tang Xiu Ying said

"What!?... No, that's not what I mean and you know that" Yang Jia glared at her

"Yeah sure, I believe you" Tang Xiu Ying said sarcastically

"Ugh" Yang Jia said in exasperation before she said "Stop teasing me, you know well I didn't say that" She puffed her cheeks in grievance.

Tang Xiu Ying laughed at her reaction and finally stopped "Fine, I believe you... Haha is just so much fun teasing you"

Yang Jia scowled "You must be gloating internally right?"

Tang Xiu Ying didn't even bother to hide it "Oh so very much"

Yang Jia sent her a helpless look "Okay, now can you answer my question?... What makes you think that he likes me?"

Liang Guozhi and Lu Changing entered the study.

Liang Guozhi sat on his study seat while Lu Changing sat on the opposite side of him.

"Since when do you let a woman enter inside your home? How is that even possible? You barely let ME in." Lu Changing asked

"She's special" Liang Guozhi answered

"I can agree with you in that. Not just anyone can have the courage to keep a white tiger as a friend" Lu Changing truly means it, in a good way.

Liang Guozhi didn't know if he should answer to that.

"Speaking about both Yang Jia and Duke... They look familiar to me. Have I seen them somewhere before?" Lu Changing asked

Liang Guozhi looked at the picture frame of Duke, Yang Jia, and him and turned it towards Lu Changing.

Liang Guozhi has a few photos of Yang Jia and him, and also Duke. He has one at his office, his study, and in his wallet.

Those are the only photos he has. The photo in his wallet is the most special because that photo only has Yang Jia and him together. With no Duke in it.

Lu Changing was astounded when he saw the picture "That's her? The one you've been waiting for seven years?"

"Mm" Liang Guozhi confirmed

Before Lu Changing could say anything else, Liang Guozhi interrupted him "What about you? What happened to you? I honestly thought you were gay, there even rumors about it"

"What?! Who came up with such rumor? Tell me I'll give him a beating" Lu Changing said in anger. He moved his sleeves up as if was preparing to beat the person that was creating such rumors about him.

Liang Guozhi answered nonchalantly "Aunty Lu"

Liang Guozhi's words made Lu Changing to make an abrupt stop.
