'What ifs' don't exist

Time stood still as she looked at him. The man that saved her life that day and took her first time was right in front her.

The most logical answer was to walk right to them and hope not to be seen but…

Tang Xiu Ying quickly turned around and headed to the nearest bathroom. It was the woman's restroom this time. She leaned on the door as she tried to catch her breath.

'He's here, why is he here?'

She felt that her heart was going to beat out of her chest if she didn't calm down. Her eyes closed as she remembered his perfect features, his dark eyes, his tall stature, his deep voice, the way the all black suit displayed his perfect physique, the elegance that he unknowingly protruded out of him. She remembered everything about his appearance in just one day.

'Calm down Xiu Ying, you have to talk to the doctor. Just walk casually across from them, he probably won't recognize you anyway…'

'...Something must've happened on his side' She lowered her head at the thought, remembering his last expression. The sad atmosphere could be felt surrounding them. She observed how he consoled his doctor friend. She didn't want to assume, but something terrible must've happened

Taking a deep breath before walking, she walked to the lobby noticing that the two men weren't there anymore.

Disappointment and relief filled her as she kept walking to her mother's doctor's office.

Disappointment because she wasn't able to see him again and relief because she wasn't ready to meet him again.

_______

"This was my fault!!!" Huang Jianyu cried as he punched his desktop.

"No, don't say that, this is not something we could've predicted and you know that…

And even if you knew, what happened was inevitable, there was no way of stopping it" Lu Changing tried to put some sense into his head. He didn't want his friend to feel remorseful for the rest of his life. He knew that in the time to come Huang Jianyu won't be the same man they used to know. All he wanted to do was not to let him live in guilt.

"What if I was there? All of this wouldn't be happening" Tears ran down his cheeks as he clenched his trembled hand, containing in the fury inside his raging and broken heart. "Right now I should be hugging my wife with my son in her arms, her motherly eyes showering out baby boy with love"

"...Huang Jianyu" He helplessly said as he hugged his best friend.

'What ifs' don't exist, they're just an alternate ending of what could've happened but never will.

'What ifs' don't exist, just the cruel reality

Liang Guozhi, who was just standing by the door witnessing what transpired, couldn't say anything.

He walked up to them and enveloped his two best friends, his two brothers into a hug

"...We are always here for you brother" He said deeply. That being the second sentence of consolation to his friend.

Huang Jianyu burst out into sobs that filled the entire room. His sadness and rage mixed into one feeling, he felt… vulnerable.

Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours yet he couldn't bring himself to stop crying. His wife passed away and his newborn son was kidnapped.

How could he stay calm?

________

It was already midnight and Yang Jia sat on her desktop as she sketched out her newest clothing design. All she did today was practice on her audition for the role of Yu Yan aka Hui Ying.

She also went to the car dealer store and bought herself a decent car. She bought herself a silver Audi A7. Fortunately she had just the right amount of money for the car.

She liked the car and felt comfortable with it. Since she needed to use it everyday, she had to get the car where she felt the most relaxed and so she decided to get the Audi A7 with white leather seats and custom rims of her choice.

Satisfied with her purchase she went back home and began to check her emails involving LY Designs. Since it's a relatively new brand, she didn't have a store established.

The price of her clothing may be relatively high but that's because she calculated the right amount of money each clothing was worth. Every diamond and every jade were counted.

Her family the Yangs are a very secretive family and it is unknown to the world in what they specialize in.

In the old ancestral Yang residence not far from there a cotton farm is seen. Since Yang Jia liked designing clothes and creating them, Grandfather Yang decided to create a cotton farm for her.

The cloth that Yang Jia used came from that farm. Yang Jia learned to harvest cotton. The cotton turned into cloth and the cloth into clothes. Everything was handmade and Yang Jia made sure that every piece of clothing she made was at its best quality.

She and her team have been deciding on finally establishing an LY Designs store and possibly looking for an ambassador for the clothing. Portfolios of many models and actresses were sent to her, but none of them catched her interest.

Their appearances didn't match the general idea of her designs and she could make a dress specifically for them, but she refused and because she did a background research and learned a few things that pushed her answer to be a no. She considered one, but she soon learned that the model had many affairs behind closed doors.

She needed someone reliable to represent her brand, someone she could trust when it comes to her identity. Someone who did not boast and someone that will not tarnish the brand's image in a negative way.

Bai Nia came to her mind and Yang Jia decided to talk to her about it. She's the only genuine friend actress/model that she knew she could trust. Yang Jia noted that she had to talk to her one these days. Hopefully her schedule wasn't that full.

Ohhh and they also had some stalking to do, but that would be for another day.
