Can you suggest battle techniques? My cultivation method is currently a standardized one, thus having little to no battle technique. It's a far cry from the best. cultivators don't usually share their methods.

I was shocked how much the player suddenly grew after each of them came out of the pagoda.
"Ah disciples, this isn't much but..."
I purchased [random sword package] that contains 100 swords, and costs 2000 SP from the system.
"You can pick one and use it among yourselves."
what came out was a japanese style katana, knight swords, and even some great swords mixed in.

I got myself a katana, and was reading the book one [Single Shimmer Sword-Art] or SSS for short. I must say the move list in this game is kind-of sick. I mean who wouldn't want to send sword waves and slice through space.
"Hey! [Kruberus], [Imitator] asks us to gather again."
"[Chrisom]? What is it this time? Are we going to cast another AOE spell? I would love to do it again."
"I'm not sure, but I'm also down for another Sandal Apocalypse."
We're back at the familiar place, and a familiar scene, [Imitator]'s standing in the middle, while we are all sitting by the side.
"As all of you had seen, they finally added a class for us, but don't be fooled, this is not your MMO with the usual holy trinity of healer's tank and DPS. but... it's easier to show you."
As he said so, suddenly [Imitator] took out a geom , a double edged sword, but with a sheath usually found in katanas.
he first did a [Sting], it's the easiest moveset, from the SSS, it involved stabbing and dashing, but what boggles me is that in the middle he did Avalance Fist's , or AF for short, moveset which is a powerful straight punch, sending shockwaves forward . resulting in a [Sting]+[Shockwave] combo.
"You all see that? Now watch this!"
He next stabbed himself, and waited till he was half HP, before pulling out the sword. and then he did the same movement for [Sting], then [Shockwave], and then he glowed blue, using Volcanic Body's [Counter spin].
The result is he moves forward, stabbing, then spins and releases a 360 degree shockwave.
"As expected of the demon king, to find the combo in just a few seconds."
"But this can still be evolved as we level up each skill tree. You need to be in half HP to use Volcanic Body's passive stat increase to do this input. I shall go and practice on mobs, and when I return I'll tell you the progress."

What was that just now? How can someone waive the skills seamlessly? Doesn't skill work like in RPGs?

he gestures towards the body he dragged back, it's a huge turtle like spirit beast.
"Ah about this. Have you read the manual of Avalanche fist?"
"Of course, teacher."

I stopped what I was doing, walked towards the corpse and jumped on top of it, I then 'gently' hit the corpse bellow me, and with a *bang* the ground collapses. but the corpse is untouched.

"You see, if you can control its power, you can inflict the damage in the area that you want."
"I see, thank you teacher."
he bows to me, and left probably starting another meeting

I was so immersed in work that I didn't notice it's dark already.
[*ding mission completed*]

I tried my hardest to keep my cool and nod.
"Then can you please gather everyone on the pagoda square?"
"Of course."

"I heard you've completed your assignments masterfully, Teacher is curious what have you learnt?"

"Teacher If I may" [Imitator] is the one who came forward.
"I've learnt that skill usage is limitless and what limits us is only our imagination."
"then show me your best move Disciple [Imitator]"
I conjured a training dummy from the soil below and reinforced it with Mana and Ki.
"With pleasure."
He first does a vertical upward slash, this is the second move of SSS, [Rend] it's a vertical slice. at it's first level it only empowers vertical slashes, but he uses it to launch the training dummy.
Then he proceeds to jump while spinning slowly, hitting the dummy twice in the air with the spinning motion. What's this? [Counter spin] and was it [High Jump] from avalanche fist?
When he's caught up with the dummy in the air, he does an overhead slash, bringing both him and the dummy down with a huge force.... I don't even know anymore.
[*clap clap clap*]
The crowd claps at the performance from [Imitator], I'm holding myself back as hard as I can, because I know how hard it is to pull off, especially with a Tier-1 cultivator body.
"Acceptable display. Tell me Disciple [Imitator], What cultivation technique do you want?"
"A telepathic skill... , no... a team chat... no, he wouldn't understand..."
"No.. I think I get what the disciple wants..."

I first bring up my Mana with my right hand. and shaping it into a cane. and my right hand Ki is visibly burning bright.
"In my left hand it's Mana, in my right hand it's Ki. it's two different energies that usually cannot Interact, look closely..."
I started coating my body with Ki to float.
"What's that? Walking on air?"
"Holy Shit!"
"We can do that"
I landed and then used mana to do the same thing.
"If you've been practicing like a Disciple [Imitator] then you should know that every time you use a [battle skill] it uses up your Ki. but never mana. And at the same time when you bring your imagination to life you use your mana."
"nod nod"
"You can do this with mana, but once mana is expanded the spell can't be controlled anymore"
I made an ice sculpture using the moisture in the air.
"WOAH!"
"then you can do this with ether..."
I injected ether into the sculpture as it came to life and started dancing around.
"Empowered spell!"
"AI into a spell?"
"HOLY SHIT THAT's AWESOME!"
"You can empower and alternate your spells properties with ether, even after the cast."

"Okay that's all for today's lesson. the next task is simply you using these lessons... for now you need to build your own living quarters,..."
"Housis system? isn't this like too early"
