You Care Your Dog
The two big black cars were also waiting behind, her body guards were responsible for her safety from any danger.
There was still one hour.
She caressed her dog, the furry puppy was soft and cute, it was one of her favorite.
Two maids were reserved to take care this fluffy puppy of her.
Jinhai took off her glasses to see through the gates when the students rushed out.
Most of the parents also appeared in their cars to pic their children, they saw the luxury car though they could not see who was inside the car but they could tell, not some ordinary business person can afford such imported luxury car even if they sell their whole assets.
It was the end of September, mild winds blew past as many students left the gates of the school with their parents.
She could not see the girl or she was not out yet.
She patiently waited, this could be said her nth hour of utmost patience.
A twelve year old girl came out with slower steps, she forgot to bring her parasol while it seemed that soon there will be raining.
She was in her school uniform and typical black shoes with white socks, her two ponytails swayed toward the changing directions of the wind while she was walking toward the bus stand.
Still she was not in hurry, and why would she hurry? she has no one waiting for her at home.
An. seemed to count her steps when the rain started pouring though the rain was not heavy.
Her eyes fell on a cat sitting beside a steel pole.
The door of the luxury car opened and a guard in black suit rushed with the parasol, he covered the rich girl and kept a distance too wetting himself in the rain.
Jinhai took the parasol and walked toward the small girl, An. was looking at the cat who was trying to shelter herself from the rain and sticking to the steel pole.
She spread her hands on the cat to protect her getting wet, and she herself was standing in the open, her school bag was at her back.
She has a chocolate bar but she cannot feed it to the cat.
Because her biology teacher once told that chocolate can be lethal for cats and dogs*, she cannot be careless toward a cat who never harmed her in anyway.
Meanwhile someone came and stood beside her, the rain stopped falling on her head.
An. turned to see who it was.
She saw the girl and turned her head away.
She immediately remembered the image of her mother being hit by her car.
She turned to walk toward the bus station and bringing out her chocolate bar to eat it while ignoring the girl.
"Listen little girl," Jinhai voiced her.
There was not much distance and An. heard her clearly.
"I am not little girl, you see," she answered without turning her head.
Jinhai was dumbstruck at her attitude, she was the only girl whom attitude suits well yet this twelve years old girl bear more attitude than her.
"What's your name then if not little girl," she waved her hand hopping that she could see her unpleasant mood.
"My name is Fan An. Jing and I don't want to talk to you," An. turned, answered and walked again with her signature steps.
She don't want to increase her pace, it might impression that she was not strong girl and was running away, she wanted to show herself as a strong girl that's why she kept her slower steps.
"Why you don't want to talk to me, tell, your brother stopped you?" Jinhai was getting impatient again, she was already waiting for more than two hours to talk to her and tell her that it would be useless for her family to carry the case.
"So, you wanted to talk to me? I see, may I know what caused this rich girl to bother me, is it not enough for you to snatch my mother from me?" An. gathered all her strength to speak out what she wanted to say.
The rain was still pouring, it resembled drizzling.
Jinhai was taken aback.
She was not expecting from her say all this openly, the people standing at the bus station were looking with an awe toward the rich girl but when they heard An. bursting with words, they fell in silence for a while.
"Can we talk in my car,? that was an accident and I am very sorry about it," Jinhai spoke while looking at the people who were eyeing her from head to toe.
Her dressing was elite class and little off for these common people.
An. was amazed at her request, the thought crossed her mind once that this girl wanted to kidnap her and force her brother to withdraw the case but then she looked at the people who witnessed their talk, she was sure that this girl won't think about such stupidity.
She walked toward her car and sat, there was a cute puppy at the back seat, her chocolate was still in her hand.
Jinhai sat at the driving seat.
"An. what happened at the market was an accident and I never wanted to harm your mother," she spoke coaxing the little girl, in her eyes, it was the best way to talk with children.
Though it could work for other children but not for An. Jing who lost her mother.
She could see the actual mood of the girl, she don't even wanted to see her much less to talk pleasantly, she only came to cast a good impression on a child but she forgot that children some times were more sensitive toward the masking of a face and the natures, they could tell the base of certain behavior.
They could differentiate carefulness and thoughtlessness, attention and negligence, regretfulness and impenitence.
"Can I feed this chocolate to your dog," An. waved the chocolate bar toward fluffy pet, ready to feed him.
She was not intending to do this actually.
"What are you doing? you remained a poor, you even don't know chocolate is lethal for it, stop it either..." Jinhai grabbed her hand harshly.
An. started smiling, "And you remained impenitent, do you think I don't know this before?" she solemnly looked at the rich girl.
"You know what is lethal for a dog but you don't know what can hurt a human, I feel sympathy for you," An. spoke and opened the door of the car.
She herself don't know where did she collected this much courage.
She only wanted to know her reaction and now she could tell, she was not here out of regret.
