"Don't Worry, I Am Here"

"An. tomorrow I will be busy, probably for a whole day, when you come back from school, stay with old aunt,"

Yue Jing reminded his sister, he would tell old aunt to take care of her in his absence, it was pity that they rarely met any of their blood relatives.

It was impossible for him to search them, if some of his aunt could take care his sister in his absence, he would be spared from asking favors from his neighbors and troubling them.

Even if he find, they might not be this free to lend a helping hand.

His mother don't belong to some reknowned family, her background was simple yet his father belonged to powerful background but he abandoned his family in order to court a woman who doesn't belong to a rich or well known family like him.

Yue don't want to neglect his responsibility, regarding his younger sister.

An. heard her brother and put the fork down, "Brother I can take care of myself, don't worry about me and focus on your work," she looked cute and sweet when she behaved sober despite being in younger years, her ponytail waved along with her nodding head.

Yue looked at her and smiled, he was amused at how she behaved like a very understanding big sister but she was not big, she was small and she needed his attention and care.

Before he could agree half-heartedly, they heard a knock at the door.

'Who could it be at this hour?' Yue Jing thought and stood up.

He opened the door, and a middle aged woman was standing there, Yue took a while but he remembered, "Aunt Feng Mian, you are here," the reason he recognized her soon because her face features resembled to his mother.

Feng Mian was older sister of his mother, both have many disagreements few years ago and they stopped seeing each other.

She heard about the death of her sister from her old uncle, she came to meet them, and express her grief over the lose.

The disagreement between both sisters was little deep that's why they rarely met after that, it was a strong misunderstanding of Feng Mian and she blamed her sister for her divorce.

The mother of Yue Jing was pretty and her sister blamed her that she was keeping her eyes on her brother-in-law, that's why her husband divorced her, she was overpossesive about her husband and when he divorced, she blamed her sister for destroying her married life.

It was strong misunderstanding because this was not truth, she was looking after her two children Yue Jing and An. Jing, not even thinking once to remarry much less to steal her brother-in-law.

"Please come inside, aunt Feng Mian," Yue Jing was not aware why both sisters don't see each other.

Feng Mian worked in a store and she usually create trouble for the second wife of her ex-husband.

She was sure that she could get him back once she succeeded in shooing away the present wife of her ex-husband.

She walked inside the house, she looked and sneered secretly, she herself was living in a cheap apartment while her sister was fortunate to get a caring husband who bought a house for her in the middle town.

Only well living people can afford to buy a house in this area while Feng Mian was living in the broken area of old City after getting divorced.

She has already used up her share of her parental house.

An. saw a woman entering in the living room, she stood up, she did not notice the facial resemblance because she caught her odd expressions, her brother cannot see because he entered in the living room later.

He saw his sister looking at the woman, "An. meet our aunt Feng Mian, the older sister of mother," he introduced gladly and with some ease.

"Greetings aunt, how are you?" she spoke with manners.

Her aunt immediately burst in tears, wailing and sobbing, she clutched An. in her embrace.

"I am sorry my child, you lost your mother in such young age, you must be feeling unwell, let your aunt hug you," she was constantly wailing.

"you don't have to worry, you have your aunt," she cleaned her tears those were streaming like waterfall.

An. got saddened, she remembered the time her mother breathed last, and she started crying, she ran from her aunt and hugged Yue Jing.

Yue Jing was conflicted over the ways of her aunt.

His hopes immediately shattered to talk with her about the care of An.

Feng Mian saw the small girl running away from her embrace, "Aunt is not good, please I should not have talked about the painful memory," she immediately held her emotions and apologized.

"It's okay aunt Feng Mian, after all, you are older sister of mother, please sit," he sat on the sofa while An. still sobbing.

He patted her shoulders, "An. it's alright, brother is here,"

Slowly her sobbing halted and she fell asleep.

Yue Jing picked her up and shifted in her room, he carefully put a blanket on her and came back.

"I got this news so late and I could not attend the funeral of my sister, only ancestors know how I am holding my heart," Feng Mian broke again.

"Aunt, I don't have your contact either I would have definitely informed you," Yue sat on the sofa heavy-hearted and saddened.

"Who is looking after you and your sister now, how you manage your meals, both of you look weak?" she knew that her sister was very caring for her children.

"Aunt, it's fine, sometime we bring take away and sometimes we make at home,"

"How can it be, it would definitely disturb your work, I will live here and look after my niece and nephew, don't worry I work in a near store so it won't trouble me," she consoled Yue affectionately.

Yue was astonished to hear, initially he wanted to ask her but she herself proposed this idea.

"Your family..." Yue stopped in midway.

He could not remember anything, only that his aunt was divorced many years ago.

"I don't have children, let me look after you both, this way, I might be able to apology my deceased sister," she spoke depressed.

Yue Jing felt at ease to hear this.

He don't need to remind that she should not talk about mother and cry in front of his sister, since she herself could understand it.

He showed his aunt her room and went in his own room to prepare for first hearing.
