He agreed but after winning the competition he refused the money prize.

“Have you chosen your prize?” the host asked.

“Yes, I want to participate on the beta.”

I Was a Beta Tester Before The World Became a Game

Remember when you enter the spaceship you'll not be able to leave until we reach our destination, planet Scalian. 


Have fun as you're forged into a pioneer, and explore the land and water! 


The game starts as a medieval fantasy with some modern elements based on the MMORPG Conquer Online 2. But the game doesn't has and doesn't need a name.


You will be given an initial package with a bag, some water, food and 100 silver, which has the value of a gold coin. Spend it wisely and take care of your personal items.


Scalia is the artificial intelligence (AI) overseeing everything and everyone on the game. It can apply patches, accelerate updates and ultimately judge. It can only change your achievement value and the thought processes of all NPC's AI's. It will not directly interfere in the game unless a bug happens!


Everyone had a different achievement value taken from Earth, but no matter what work hard! Only 1% of the population will start at C rank and the others even lower! Your rank can also decrease at Scalia judgement.


Quests gives more than in game rewards! Most quests also give a bit of achievement value.


 Hint - Easy quests, repeatable ones, all of them give achievement value, albeit a lower amount. The purpose is not to stay lazy!


  Hint - At the start it is understandable to freak out, cry and despair. But look at the bright side, you will live! But if this causes you to paralyze and don't participate in the game.. Scalia is always watching, so harsher quests and their rewards/punishments may be forced onto you.


In 6 years there will be a last event before our destination - you'll be advised at least a year before, in order to prepare for it.
