We have to speak about things in the right manner, not people with no knowledge, like me, talking about something. People with knowledge will talk about it and tell people to do this, do that, and everything will be fine, or not. Not football managers, I don't understand that.

-- Laura's POV --

'Who- who are these two?!' was the first thought that passed my mind when I saw these two.

When I saw the man at first I didn't sense it, but now… he seems more dangerous than anybody I have ever met. Much more so than Kimura, and even more so than Milo and I.

And the girl isn't that far behind, although, I get the feeling that she is holding herself back somehow.

I was ready to run away by jumping through the window on top of the kitchen sink when I felt a hand on my shoulder, hearing a reassuring "Calm down," from the man my mother told me to trust, "They are friends, not foes," he said

After a few moments he spoke once more, "Anyway Laura, let me introduce you to my roommate and his girlfriend," Milo said as he pointed towards two powerful mutants in the room.

I slowly nod my head, pop my claws back in.

"Hi I'm Archie," the male said with a semi awkward wave, if my senses were not screaming how powerful he is, I wouldn't guess he was dangerous at all.

"And Ah'm Rogue, nice to meet ya Laura," the girl said with a smile that I had only seen on my mother's face…

I slowly nod, still checking out every exit point, as at this point Milo was blocking the sink exit. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard the male one, Archie, talk.

"Hey Laura, have you ever been to the movies before?"

… Movies… Mother said it was something people went with their friends and loved ones…

I looked at Archie, and slowly shook my head.

Archie smiles before saying, "A new movie came out this weekend, Milo and I wanted to see it, would you girls wanna tag along?"

"Oh yeah, you should definitely see it," Milo said with a smile and pat me on the back.

"That sounds great, hey Sugar, have ya been in a theatre before?" Rogue asks me,

I just shook my head, there was no way those in the facility would have let me go to a theatre.

Rogue turns to Archie and asks "What movie do ya wanna see Sugar?"

"Aladdin (1992), it seems pretty good" he said with a shrug, trying to down play it

"Ah guess it is a good idea, what do ya think? Do you wanna see a movie?" Rogue asks me, I slowly nod my head in confirmation.

Archie claps once before saying "Alright Milo, I know what we are gonna do today… Where is Perry?"

"Perry?" I couldn't help but ask

"Our pet platypus. We got him last week," he said and a weird duck like animal appeared out of nowhere.

"What is that?" I ask, the teachings in the facility taught me a lot, but it did not teach me every animal.

Milo smiled brightly at my question

"He's a semi aquatic

Egg laying mammal of action" he said

(Doo-bee-doo-bee-do-bah)

"He's a furry little flatfoot

Who never flinched

From a fra-ee-ay-ee-ay (Fray)" Archie continues

"He's got more than just mad skill

He's got a beaver tail and bill"

"And the women swoon

Whenever they hear him say" they both look at the platypus

"He's Perry, Perry the platypus" they said at the same time

That… was weird…

These people are weird…

But I suppose they are alright…

-- 2 Days Later, Milo's POV --

Laura is adjusting well.

Her and Rogue moved next door, easier commute, larger house.

Today is special because we are taking Laura to the Mall and getting her everything she'll need.

"Hmm… Milo? G'day…" a feminine voice next to me brought me out of my thoughts,

"Huh? Harley? You up?" I ask as I looked at the time, it was 6:30

"*Yaaawn* I guess," she said as she stretched her arms.

I planted a kiss on her neck, "Well since you are up…"

We spent the next hour and half in bed, until I smelled bacon and egg.

"Hey Harls, you wanna grab breakfast?" I asked

"Huh- Huh- Huh-" she panted before nodding her head "Just- just give me a few minutes…" she said and I reached and planted a kiss before getting out of the bed.

I found my pants on top of the ceiling fan, no clue where my underwear is. *Sniff*Sniff* Oh they are under the bed. I put on my underwear and pants before walking to the kitchen.

There stood Archie, preparing an bacon and eggs,

"Mornin'" I said drawing his attention

"Morning, sunny side up?" he asked

"Yep, also can you make cook one more egg, Harley is over,"

He raises an eyebrow "Who?"

"The blonde,"

He gave me a look that said he needed more context, which was fair I suppose as I mostly brought home blondes and brunettes.

"The one I met at the bar" I told him

"Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?" he said as he cracked one more egg,

"The Aussie girl," I said and he had a look of realization

"The girl with the smackable ass?" he asked and I nod my head and the voice coming from my room draw our attention

"You betcha you're darn tootin' I have a smackable ass," Harley says with a tint of cheer in her voice. She was wearing my my lucky Knicks shirt,

Archie and I were unconsciously checking out Harley's naked legs when a woman walked out of the shower.

"Hello Suga', who is your friend?" Rogue asks as she is drying her hair with a towel, wearing a bathrobe.

"The name's Harley, Suga'." she replied, there was a small tension going on there, Archie must have sensed it as well becaus

"Who is with Laura?"

"She is by herself," Archie replied

"Who is Laura?"

"My sister, she is 11, and absolutely adorable," I said with a smile,

Harley turns to Rogue "You let a little girl stay a night by herself? That is not good for her psychi, I should know, I am doin' a minor in psychology," she said, surprising me, and forcing Archie to hold back a laughter,

"I- I am sorry, you- you are studying psychology" Archie said, barely containing himself

"Yep, I sure do,"

"So you, Harley, a blonde, beautiful woman, ouch" he said as he was pinched by his southern girlfriend, "as I was saying, a blonde psychology student?" he asked, and when she nodded Archie started laughing like there is no tomorrow

-- 2 Weeks Later, Archie POV, Outer Space --

"Kaaa- Mee- Haaa- Mee- HAAA!" I screamed as I unleashed a devastating blow to the Texas sized asteroid that was coming to the planet. I didn't need to shout it, but the little weeb in my heart demanded that I do.

Past two weeks have been great. Laura was finally settling, Rogue and Milo just adored her, so did I, and she had adjusted quite well so far. Milo and I also finally agreed on what to call mutants after a game of Super Mario Kart. Still can't believe he wanted to call them- us, Parahumans. The last thing we need is something like Worm to happen

{So no TRUE heavy hitters, well maybe except Wanda but her power fluctuates more than a turkey on a thanksgiving day} I thought back as I tried to assess how dangerous this was.

It took me a few minutes to reach the Ship which was flying at 80% of the speed of light. By the time I had reached the space ship, however, I was already at Titan (Saturn's moon), and the small ship had entered the mothership. And just as I was about to intercept it, a Black Solar Flare came out of nowhere and sent me off my course.

{Wha- What was that?} I asked to the Ring, who replied me with an {{Unclear}}

I looked around and saw a blond man flying towards me, he made some kind of a construct out of yellow light and tried to contain me, but the shields I made at the last second prevented it. I took a look at him, and thank god it was not a Yellow Lantern, instead, it was Quasar (AN: A Cosmic Marvel Hero with Quantum Bands that function similar to a Lantern Ring).

"What the heck man?!"
