First Date

-Lily's P.O.V-

I walk around school to dance til someone pulls me aside. I get pulled in a room and the door closes. "Finn?" I say. "Shh" He says. "What's going on?" I ask. "I, wanted to ask you on a date." He says. "No roses, no surprise?" I joke. "Sadly, no..." He says smiling. "I will" I say. "Meet me from where we met, then I'll take you back someplace special." He says. "Ok then" I say. I sit on a table looking at him. "What do you wish for?" He asks. "What do you mean?" I ask. "What do you want?" He asks. "Well... I wish i could bring back my friend..." I say. "What do you mean?" He asks. "My childhood friend. She died from cancer." I say. "I'm so sorry." He says. "I'm holding up now. I don't need people pitying me." I say. "Well, anyway... I'll be there." I say as I pull his tie closer to me. We both smile then kiss. "I have to go, The girls are probably waiting for me." I say. I get off the table and go in the dance room. "Someone's late." Vivian says. "It doesn't matter, come on. We have to be ready and set for Regionals!" Hailey says. We then practice step by step.

It's after school and I go to the cafe. I walk in and see Finn there. "So what's this all about?" I ask. "We've kissed on stage in front on thousands of people. I never had a chance to take you out on a date." He says. I look behind me slightly and see some cheerleaders at my school checking Finn out. He comes closer and whispers "Let's Dutch this place and go somewhere fun". We get our stuff and he takes me to a club. "Why here?" I ask. "I wanted to take you to my favorite hiding spot." He says. "Aw, you're too cute." I say. "Cute?" He says. "Want me to rephrase?" I ask. "Go ahead." He says sitting down. "You are very hot." I laugh. "What is it a joke?" He laughs. "No, I just feel embarrassed saying it in public!" I say, still laughing. "Well then do I need to show it off?" He asks. "No, please." I say looking down. "There's one more place I want to take you to." He says. We exit and he takes my to a broadway stage. "What are we doing here?" I ask. "You know what." He says. "Another dance?" I ask. "Why of course." He says. "Or, we could just..." I says as I kiss him. He stops and looks at me. He smiles and kisses me again. "Ready to lose at Regionals?" He says. "Haha, not a chance" I say. We hold hands and he walks me home. It wasn't far from there. We arrive at my house and say our goodbyes. "Goodbye, Lily." He says. I kiss him one more time. "Goodbye, Finn" I say.
